Super premium nutro choice lamb and rice is the best. Another premium dogfood is Regal with many variants - lamb n rice, turkey n rice, venison etc.

yeah its right.. a very well known abroad. but their food maybe not compatible to our pets here as one factor we can consider is we have different climate to them. uhmm.. i have heard different feedbacks about canidae thou.. they really NOT GOOD. but BEST enough to EXCELLENT dog food. Beef pro for me .... No probs and not so Expensive.
My pit is already 3 yrs old and I feed her Beef pro puppy.
I just make sure of the amt when feeding.

Yes it might be true about compatibility. Even though how expensive or how best is the dog food but if your dog doesn't eat it or causes allergies to him still it wont be suitable for feeding. Pertaining to climate or weather, dog food does not account to its factor. What is deemed important in choosing the right dog food is really compatibility on its formulation since every dog food manufacturer has different formulation and might or might not work with your pets.
If what works best for your pets is the ideal dog food that you should follow.
As to the brand Canidae, I could recommend it personally since Im also a user to it and many others could attest to its benefits since most of the ingredients are unquestionable and is highly recommended mostly by our foreign counterparts.
