2) may not be true to all owners, well for owners who are still single, yuppies, young hotshots or owners who just can afford to spend more fuel without hurting it's budget then fuel consumption is negligible regardless that SZ16 is 30km/L.

mao jd bro.. mao gani nga dli jd ka kaingon nga mas dako ug fuel consumption ang isa, compared sa isa.... as i've posted na pud sa lain na thread, fuel consumption not only depends sa specs sa makina sa motor:

factors includes:
1. aerodynamics/ergodynamics : porma sa motor ug imong position . . .
2. weather : pag hangin kaau naay tendency mohinay imong dagan... so magpakusog ka.
3. RPM / throttle control : so kng magpakusog ka, yayay ang gas...
4. tyre pressure : if dli sakto ang hangin, naay tendency mo hinay ang dagan pg under pressured imong tyres.. so pakusog ka padagan. . .
5. your weight!
6. road condition

pero as i've said pd, fuel consumption dli nana nmo mahuna-hunaan... besides, the purpose na mgmotor ka is to cut your expenses sa Fare . . . . and gamay ra difference ang consumption sa gi-compared nga motor (rouser, sz-r,rtr) kng nahan kag tipid jd.. aw pag-CB110...tested and proven nana sya...

I know daghan factors sa fuel consumption but based sa mga storya sa ako mga kaila ug reviews sa itnernet di gyud ko motuo aning 40km/l sa fz16 ug sz-r so far kung sa mga motor lang nga 150cc ang mga carbs ana mostly mga 26mm maglisod gyud na abot ug 40-50kpl. Except sguro kung sa highway driving or driving at a low speed around 30-50kph.

Just wanted to share my experience on Yamaha FZ16. I bought this bike in December 2008 and have been using it till now. In 150 CC segment bike, i guess FZ 16 is best in terms of Looks, Handling, Comfort (of course city drive). What sucks is the mileage. I have measured numerous times and the mileage ranges between 27-30 (doesnt matter how you drive). For a 150 CC bike, this is what you do not expect.

Secondly, if the self start fails (which happens frequently), you are dead.


If you go beyond 80, it starts vibrating. I mean, for the price you pay for this bike, its absolutely NOT WORTH buying. Showroom guys just cheat telling it gives a mileage of 40-45.


travel minimum 100-150 kms / day , seriously ma bike sucks my purse on daily basis by giving 30km/liter.... Regarding performance no chance of other bikes, awesome performance andd gives great look to others nearby... I have given my bike for 1st service these service mechanics are cheating like anything by giving bill for 600 bugs saying oil change and everything, but only water service has done... so it gives more vibration when i throttle...

I bought yamaha SZR Grant Trunk Auto Works Pvt Ltd Ludhiana sow room,in real the Bike is terms pf price,Engine power comfortable,but mileage is very poor. I have almost crossed 9000 K.M.with my BIke and 5 services completed.But mileage is 23-28 K.M per Ltrs.I ride Bike between 50-60K.m per Hrs.

murag OT na bro hahahaha pero ato tubagon. Ang tubag kay wala. wala pang atbang ang yamaha sa 200cc segment. Bisan pa ug mogawas na ang ila Yamaha R15 (yamahal) pwerte sguro mahala pero dili gihapon na ka at par sa pulsar 200ns. horsepower pa lang daan.

kanang naa sa taas na 27-30 ra iyang city driving?lolz..trafic man kaatubang ana niya permi.
if you want to know more about sa consumption sa FZ16 bro i sugest ari ka musearch sa fz club dre sa CEBU, kay ang city driving lahi2 na siya, dghan factors mu affect ana.

tan.awa lang gd tong comercial nila sa SZ-R, ngadto palang gne daan gpakita naman nila na trafic jd kaayo ang india, galusot2 raman tong SZ.

sa akong mga kaela na naka fz their FC is usually at 34-40km/l
so sakto jd ka na lisod kaayo na abton ang 41km/l - 50km/l, impossible jd sa 150cc bike.hehe
