Im getting kasi it from dubai kasi my sister is comming back here sa pinas and maybe that will be my pasalubong... i will just compare the price here vs there.... if thats the following price im saving around 10K its more cheaper there as what my sister say... is the 60d good?? is it one of the top of the line for now
what lens will i prefer to buy![]()
60d is by far the newest release in Canon's Midrange category, and it is good. If you are thinking of better one with the expense of higher price then you can consider high-end dlsr like 7d, 5d, etc.. and that's a different story.
Lens, if your new to dlsr, work with your kit-lens first and later you'll understand what you want and from there you can base what equips you'll be aiming. 18-135 or 18-55 are the lengths of usual kitlens.

I suggest you star with 60D, then find out if that suits your needs. If you found out that it will not suit your needs, then there are 7D, 5D and 1D series. First, ask yourself what do you want to photograph. But, if you more than enough money, then go for the the top of the line cameras.
Always remember, invest on glass and lesser on bodies.
share nasad ta hehehe..
enjoy!

finally got my package.. bought 3rd party battery grip with decoded batteries.. and also an auto focus macro ring and macro ring flash..
will give a feedback on the grip not later than tomorrow
=================================
okay.. i finally taken my package out of the box... and i have to say it was more than i've expected. the feel and even the material's quite at par with the camera body itself.. pareho ragyd kaayo ug nawong ug feel sa original canon battery grip.. same function buttons and even the tampo prints..
before i decided on getting this, i tried testing the orginal one and compare it with this third party grip.. the only thing na tima-ilhan that's it's not the original is naay name sa brand sa ubos (as far as i remember the orig battery grip unlike the usual ones for other models don't have a canon insignia/plate sa grip.. then i attached it to my camera to check it's fitting/gaps.. and so far snug fit gyd kaayo siya.. no gaps whatsoever..
the package also comes with 2 decoded batteries.. here's a comparison with the original one:
straight out of their boxes, the batteries already held roughly about 65% of power.. gi try nako ug on continuously shifting to video/still mode for straight 45minutes then ako gi disable ang power saver sa body.. afterwhich i tried checking how much was used sa battery and so far aroungly 5% lang ang nakuha.. oh.. that means diay na confirmed na mo basa ang camera sa status on both decoded batteries.. eitheir sa viewfinder or sa lcd panel sa upper right:
i'm not sure if the original has this extra magazine for other power source option like using regular AA batteries.. this third third party grip has one.
