im a nikon user of D3000 and still dont know how to use it i already read the manual but im still confused so cud someone help me pls give me a little tips of using the manual mode?thanks
mister, to do manual mode, you have to understand three things basically; aperture, shutter speed, and iso
use the simulator posted here so that you can apply these factors i have mentioned.
edit: here is the simulator to make you familiar with the metering ---> Understanding Exposure - SimCam - Film and Digital Camera Simulator - Photonhead.com
if you still cannot understand what i am saying, use the semi automatic "P" mode of your camera then observe what it is doing then gradually switch to shutter or aperture priority modes as you shall be learning.
tip: either youre intelligent or dull, read MANY times your manual. im still reading it now.

this is another simulator but with ISO option already;
Aperture, shutter and ISO value | SLR Camera Simulator
while your doing with the simulation, try applying and familiarizing it with your dslr there in actual.
edit: there are also brief descriptions there what are these shutter, aperture, and iso all about.
