Are this public officials (especially the rich ones) interested in our local tourism... how many of them (kaha) have visited tourist spots in the Philippines?

hay naku, yung ibang pinoy talaga! anything nga mabutangan ug issue, butangan jud. come on guys, give them a break, well you. these athletes work hard to give honor to this country and they deserved to receive a price. the price they received is a vacation, and they choose hongkong disneyland. why disneyland? i don't know, maybe because disneyland already made a name as a place for fun and entertainment, with all the disney characters and living out one's childhood fantasies. why hongkong? maybe because there is no disneyland in the philippines. but the main issue is, they are out to there to enjoy and have fun as fruit of their labor. so let it be, you are making it hard for everybody, making an issue out of nothing.

yeah, i think those athletes deserved to be treated to disneyland. first time pa baya naka-overall champion ang Philippines. i also don't like the argument that just because they chose hong kong means they don't support local tourism. it's just like saying that if you buy imported items you don't support the local economy.

i still think its better they inject the money into our local tourism just think how much they spent on HK, and how much it can help our local tourism, yup buying imported items instead of local items doesn't support the local economy... Pinoy Ako! well anyways, to each his own i say

We are talking about the PERSONAL LIVES of the ATHLETES and not yours mr DARKWING or MINE that would benefit us because they are patronizing our RICE TERRACES and CHOCOLATE HILLS .
