i agree, it should have additional charge if they want access to the CMS or they want their site to be CMS driven.
grabe nasad na..over kill naman na kaau.. gihimo bitaw ang cms para mobarato and less work.. mo charge man hinuon ug dugang..
the thought here is when the client want their site to have a CMS, web developers and designers ask for additional charge because client dont need them anymore to update the site so no income after the project close. ahehehehe
nice topic discussion..... for me it's worth while working in CMS, but in such a way that i less your burden work.
Most web developers here probably use a read to use CMS such as Joomla ... yet they charge clients to access something they didn't have to do any extra work for? Not to mention that you don't own the CMS! ... you did not implement the damn feature! That is like giving your client half the pie instead of the whole thing. 3rd world kaayo ang train of thought. You are there to develop a website, not to gain continuous profit from it.
maybe some... but in my part i have my own created from the scratch CMS powered by our own designed framework, i also created a CMS powered by Zend Framework and this two CMS is the one i used for my clients. I dont even try to install jomlaa im not interested by the way, drupal yes ive tried installing it and read it for a while but havent use it in my clients.
OF course, CMS makes it easier to edit
pijavier, know more about the pricing stuff between static and CMS driven websites.
lol haven't been visiting istorya.net for a while and *wham* here i am reading posts regarding some guys charging clients asking access to their CMS...
