dont use their service if you feel it is poor.
Petitioning is an anti marketing move.

building a mobile network is like building road and higways
so sun is still building it while at the same time letting people use it....
so rightnow there is too much traffic.... so build more lanes....
in your case LytSlpr......
you wanted to get a phone for free in exchange for 2 years lock-up
you knew that SUN was new and being new you should expect a lot of bumps.... Why did you go for their promos... You could have gone to Globe or Smart and get a free phone too....
You know all new services will have all sorts of problems that is why i don't have a sun yet
its like making a decision on what car to buy..... Brand new... Used..... or Surplus....
each will have its own disadvantage....
Surlpus ka daghan maintenance.... Used gali basi dili humot ang sulod.... Brandnew smells like from the factory....
So it was your move...
it was your decision...
you knew they were newbies.... so don't expect them to do it right in one step....
i knew what i was getting because i tried their prepaid service before subscribing to their post-paid and they were okay but i did not anticipate what they will become.Â* who would have thought that being a new player, they would become worse?Â* it doesn't make sense right?Â* get the logic sir?Â* this is way worse than smart's "free phone promo" back in the analog days.Originally Posted by UCAV
the root cause of all these problems is their 24/7 or daylite promo.Â* they took in more than they can handle at a given time.Â* the issue here is not about their existing technology or their being a new player, the issue is greed.Â* that's the reason why smart & globe hasn't and will never play their low blow strategy because the quality of service will suffer.Â* who would have thought sun would hit below the belt?
it all about catering to the needs of the market
most people who went for 24/7 know they would have to try to call 5-10 times to connect. But they also know it wouldn't cost anything to call again and again and again
so that is the trade-off you can call as many times as you want but you get connected after dialing 5-10 times or more.....
As Always basta newbie naa gyud kay apprehension
during the early days sa internet mao pud na ang nahitabo.... dail-up pero hinay gyapon kay ila man gi dawat tanan subscribers but eventually karon okay na ang dial-up compared before
don't expect na in 1 year ma pareha na ang Sun sa SMART or GLOBE...
so sige sila ug taod ug equipment para mo daghan ang lanes sa highway....
Ako when sun launch their service I expected competition gyud to benefit everyone so kato ilang 24/7 has benefited people as my example has shown gamay nalang imo bayaron sa Globe or Smart kung naa kay sun....
The only way to win more subscribers was to give them unlimited calls and text
diba ang globe sa una unlimited text then na overload nila ilang system so ilang gi limit ang text niya naay nagprotest gali na texter group para ibalik sa Globe na unlimited and text pero wala ni sugot ang Globe gi pikatan lang kay kwarta lagi......
karon ila na sad gi offer ang unlimited text by globe so thats the beauty of competition....
That's exactly the point! The petition is meant to wake them up and make them realize that if they don't act NOW, there will be a backlash. If we just sit on our asses and pretend that Sun really cares about consumers (they apparently DON'T), then Sun will move as slow as molasses.Originally Posted by livewire
I paid good money to Sun. I want good service NOW, not later.
Well not everyone knew that. Sun's advertising made them look like they were ready to handle the subscribers. Are we just supposed to assume their service will be this bad even though their promises say otherwise?Originally Posted by UCAV
When Globe started or even Smart they too had their share of problems
so it would also happen to Sun......
Don't expect on the very start everything will be okay......Even if they spend a lot on advertising..... You call it birthing pains
Sun needs to improve its service! that's for sure...but i also believe that Smart and Globe have got to stop fooling Filipinos since they have earned billions of pesos out from our naivity when it comes to mobile phone services. What Sun did, when they offer unlimited call and text with a corresponding service charge, IS THE BEST and EYE OPENER TO ALL OF US pinoys....if sun can do it...why cant these giants; Smart and Globe do it as well?
UNLIMITED CALL AND TEXT IS NOT NEW in the mobile phone industry. SPRINT PCS in U.S has "UNLIMITED SPRINT MOBILE TO MOBILE CALLING". Cingular and Verizon are giving the same services. and here - Sun Cell offered the same service, though not that perfect - it needs improvement though...BUT WHY CANT SMART AND GLOBE?
