hmmm..unya ang imong workstation ge static pod?
kay ang akoa deri both wan1 and wan2 ge dynamic tanan, asta pod ang workstation dynamic..ISP smartbro kato pang residential.

My server and all PC's in the lan are having a static IP.
But that does not affect the router in its operation.

If you have 2 DCP connections, just set both to dynamic IP.
It might take a while until the IP is renewed.

their works are all the same, i mean the load balancing. only the features differs.


so its up to you what brand you prefer to buy... just see their detailed technicalities to decide.

if you experienced slow downs, the IP(from any of the WAN) in which the certain workstation is connected is having a problem.


anyway, this dual WAN router is quite buggy specially in PPPoE encapsulation. and its latest disclosed public firmware wont help much.

yes buggy jud ni...nagmahay ko pagpalit...pero i will try to update sa v1.02 beta..naa ka? naka problema akong VPN connections..my connections are both PPPoE(pldt and globe)...what if ako ichange balik to router mode ang router sa Globe then set Static IP sa dlink router?ok ra kaha?

Buggy? I have no problem at all with it.
I am using Firmware 1.01.03
And if ever, I have the 1.02beta and can just upgrade.
