@adajanir If you are into simple renderings ie. houses, interiors and small buildings go for i7 which has 8 cores and more rams atleast 16gb, search for applications to boost ur ram usage so that you can use your apps not in your hdd but from the ram itself.

But if you really want more and best performance with faster output working with 3d landscaping using Acad/Photoshop/3D Max/Sketchup and or Shaderlight i7 still does great but you need to have 2 pc's one for Cad and 3D modeling only while the other one for 3D rendering only- u can have two gpus on this- only if you want a faster performance 10x or more. By the way i5 can already supplement your Acad and 3D modeling needs. While the i7 w/ 2 gpus for your rendering only. This way you can save your rendering time 10x more and meet ahead of your deadline.

let's clarify, first : i7 version core counts differ per sockets

    > socket 1156 | 1155 | 1150 and 1151 i7 are Quad cores < 4 cores + HT > to a total of 8Threads < not cores >
the not so expensive ones. with dual channel DDR3 RAM.

    > while Socket 1366 can have as many as 6cores with HT for a total of 12threads.
expensive in their time with triple channel DDR3 RAM

    > first version 2011 i7 can have as many as 6cores with HT for a total of 12threads
very expensive chips with quad channel RAM
    Quad Channel DDR3

    > current version i7 on LGA2011 v3 can have as many as 8cores + HT for a total of 16threads
while it's XEON LGA2011 v3 cousins have as many as 18cores with 36 threads.
    Quad Channel DDR4
VERY EXPENSIVE CHIPS. but very powerful

yes, into simple works ra jd akong usage, mga ginagmay na projects ra gd. ang important lng nko mudali ang trabaho and ma-lessen ang labad sa ulo while mgtrabaho (lag & crash). hahaha. unya nko mag imba na build kun capable na pd ko mkamaximize sa specs. hehe. thank u sa tambag boss!

pro naa koy question, ang 4-core i7 (
    i7-4770)
ok rana ipair ug lower-end na mobo (4-5k price range, ky wa pd ko plan mag-OC), ?? kailangan ba mu-invest sa high end mobo?

@ adajanir pwede ra nimo i-pair ang i7 sa low-end nga mobo but limited rasad ang performence ie. graphics boost etc. might as well if you go middle end with some important features offred which you think might be helpful. also take note of the above mentioned post by bro butitoy.
