Nintendo DS is great for a female especially the pink one. It looks like a make-up kit.

Seriuosly nintendo is targeting the growing female gamers. with this gameboy.

Games-wise its no contest, the DS walks all over the PSP when it comes to games, sorry but PS2 hand-me-down games are boring and uninspired. Don't get me wrong, some of the games are great (Lumines has been on my PSP for a few months now, I haven't touched NFL Street or Ridge Racer since last year), but if you're looking for a new experience you won't get it here. There's a reason why the DS is sold out everywhere in Japan, and no, it's not because the PSP is one sexy device, its all about the games.

The PSP is pretty useful as a PMP though (Portable Media player), and I regularly stuff TV eps into it.

Oh, and yes, the DS has one hell of an ugly mug, but really, if you care more about the console's looks instead of the games in it, you're getting one for all the wrong reasons. Besides, the DS Lite is going to be out soon : http://www.engadget.com/2006/01/26/n...unces_ds_lite/ .

With all due respect to PSP owners, pls don't trash a system until you have tried the other system.

One of the reasons why people shy away from the DS is the price of the games themselves. Games ranges from 1.7k-3k but if you are willing to invest on it, the gameplay experience is so innovative.

How many of you psp owners have gone ON-LINE to play with someone from another country / region and not just a Wi-Fi LAN setup? I am asking since I would want to know if there are any Wi-Fi Hot Spots that I could test.

DS detects WiFi Setup by globe but it's not for free.

    for ds?

Animal crossing, Mario Kart DS and Tony Hawks' America sk8land

I suggest you pick Animal crossing and it helps to have lots of friends on-line to play with or make friends with.
