Tony Parker is a better playmaker than Sarunas Jasikevicius, but Sarunas is a far deadlier sniper. Team Lithuania is the more purist basketball team while you have a few showmen who can give you highlight reels for France..I root for Lithuania this time, I like the way they play

Jasikevicius has turned out to be a lot more deadlier in Eurobasket 2007. He leads everybody in the assists category with 6.3 assists per game for now, almost 2 assists away from Meir Tapiro of Israel who's currently second with 4.6 per game. He has established himself as Lithuania's leader and one of Europe's best.

Tony Parker will be Lithuania's main problem, just like any other team that faces France. Parker ranks second overall in scoring with 25.0 points per game. Parker is simply too fast and quick for anybody out there.

Note: Sarunas Jasikevicius status for the game is still uncertain and doubtful if he'll be 100% in their game against France. Saras is suffering from a groin injury and Lithuania will be relying once again to Rimantas Kaukenas who tallied 22 points in their 79-74 win over Italy.

kinsay daug yokam? Did Parker's blur flush Lithuania or did Lithuania's shooters shoot the lights out?

Lithuania won, 88-73 and remained unbeaten in Eurobasket 2007. France's Tony Parker was kept in check and was limited to a measly 11 points, way below his usual scoring average. Team captain and birthday boy Ramunas Siskauskas led the way this time for Lithuania scoring game high 19 points while Sarunas Jasikevicius added 14 points and 7 assists. Florent Pietrus led France with 13 points.

France (2-2) will be facing the eliminated Turkey for it's final game which will decide as to they'll advance of will be eliminated in the tournament. Lithuania will face fellow undefeated team Slovenia for their final game. Both Lithuania and Slovenia have already advanced to the quarter finals.

Slovenia just blown out Dirk Nowitzki and Germany, 77-47. Slovenia played balanced basketball all through out the tournament, without any established superstars, they just topped out other teams like Dirk and Germany, Parker, Diaw and France and Bargnani, Belinelli of Italy.

Di pa. Each team will play a single-game format against the opposing group. The first from Group E will face the last team in Group F, 2nd vs 3rd and vice versa and the losers will immediately be eliminated. So basically, the two teams that will remain unbeaten prior to the finals will automatically qualify to the Olympics. The quarterfinals losers will just play classification games for the FIBA Europe 2007 rankings.

In case Germany fails to advance to the Olympics, Dirk Nowitzki plans to retire from Germany's national team.
