    True kaya ra ang TBM cost, ang problem man gud dire sa Pinas tanan govt construction ipa bidding sa private sector instead mo-invest/maintain sila ng mga construction equipments, TBM, road construction machinery etc. unlike to other countries. Mao tanan projects dire are expensive.

    Kung mag-subway dire expensive gyud mahulog siya "per kilometer of tunnel" ang pricing, kay mo.profit pa man ang private sector and then naa pud siguro "Underground rights" bayron gihapon sa govt.

    Though kailangan gyud studyhon ang Tunneling kay there are places dili sayon i-tunnel esp heavily built ang infrastructure above ground.

    Wa man ko niingon mao na ang implementation sa BRT sa Cebu... read about the BRT thread dire that I participated.

    Ikaw ra man nag-insist na gamay ang road mao need gyud elevated na MRT/LRT, Im telling you instead elevated rail for rolling stock/train.. why not elevated highway for BRT mas cheaper solution, it doesnt need electricity and no need to buy P80M per coach

    This is more on wise choice.. daghan PROBLEMS ang MRT/LRT sa Manila kanus-a man tawon na nahimo SOLUTION ? While ang BRT system have more success on other countries and it can transport more people than trains.
    The problem sa imong arguments is gi-label man nimo TEMPORARY SOLUTION ang BRT the same ra man ang MRT/LRT sa elevated BRT but more cheaper.

    Ang BRT system doesnt last a decade ? Is that what you are saying ?

    Wala ka kakuha Bay... ang pasabot naku dili mu last ug Deacde ang problemas traffic. neg naa na ang BRT after pila ka years mu HOOT nasad ang traffic.. ngita nasad lain solustion.. impotent ang utok natong mga PILPINO. BAOG kung sa tagalog pa. not capable of coming up with the best ideas.

    Bay nka adto nakag laing lugar na naay MRT?? nganung manila ragud imung gi basehan. kanang manila na MRT/LRT sa panahon pana ni MARCOS. wala jud na ni UPGRADE sa mga ning sunod na ADMINISTRASYON.. ang thanks for that "NECESSARY EVIL" kay hangtod karong iyang mga projects ni last jud intawn ug more than 3 decades

    . kita kas MRT sa SG. UK. JAPAN? HONGKONG... kada decada nag cgeg UPgrade base sa technology.. hahay

    PILIP{INO jud ka bay kay klaro kaayu imu pangutok mabaw pas PISPAND. ayaw paila sa imung pagka indigent gud

    Di man OT ang talks of LRT/MRT/BRT ... the news is more on the failed implementation of Davao's LRT mao dismayed si Duterte, naka.ingon lang guro si Duterte about sa heroes kay limited kaayo ang iyang message... he cant relay his personal thoughts. naa bya "Imperial Manila" mentality si Duterte. The only way not to aggravate the situation is to talk on heroes from other parts of the country, mao sad na title sa article. My two cents' worth.

    Di nalang nato istoryahon unsa na implement na BRT dire kay ikaw ra nag ingon NOT APPLICABLE dire even though naa nay on going plans and implementations
    And beside di sad ko satisfied sa plans nila... need gyud ang BRT ug dedicated lanes ug I like kanang ELEVATED form of BRT murag LRT/MRT.

    Now lets talk of BRT and MRT/LRT in general, unsa man nakalahi anang elevated BRT against sa MRT/LRT ? kung dili pud elavated but DEDICATED ang lanes sa BRT how come mahuot man na for years to come ?

    Again wa nimo gi analyze ang potential sa BRT and we are not talking yet the good effects kung mawala or ma.lessen ang mga PUV.

    while ang MRT/LRT system will encounter more problems like kanang:
    1. it needs stable supply of eletricity and we got one the highest rate in the world;
    2. LRT/MRT had a tendency to be paralyze in times of derailment, train stoppage on one station; naa lang mag.suicide by jumping to the rail/train paralyze na for a few hours and mechanical issue like electric connections, engine etc;
    Compare nimo sa BRT na pwede lang nila overtake ang other problematic buses di gyud ma totally paralyze ang system.
    3. LRT/MRT carry less passenger, country like China prefer BRT.
    4. cost of rolling stock like coach is expensive, imagine P80M per coach... pila na ka bus mapalit anang P80M.
    5. kanang upgrade and maintenance costs are expensive with MRT/LRT mao mabayaan pag budget.

    Ang problem man gud sa imo you are so detached to reality... mangita ka ug FIRST CLASS na solution without considering na THIRD WORLD lang ta... di nako ma.shock ngano wa na approve ang LRT sa Davao, cause money talks
    Mag wonder pud ka bai ngano wa nipalit ug stealth fighter ang government instead of trainer/multi role na gipalit nila ron? mas BEST IDEA bya ng Stealth fighter lol.
    In summary theres so little can be done with the current budget we had... it has nothing to do sa "impotent ang utok natong mga pinoy" kay ang budget gipang deliberate na sa congress. Kung the sky is the limit sa budget First World na unta ang Pinas hehehe.

    Ikaw bay mag.negosyo ka ug cargo hauling sunod pick-up lang ma.afford nimo instead of light truck... ayaw ko ingna musugot ka ingnan na "impotent imo utok" or "mabaw pa sa Fish pond ang imong pangutok" Unfair kaayo na assessment without them knowing the financial situation.

    Sayanga sad ani. Why does Duterte still need the approval of the national government when the one financing the LRT project is from a Korean firm?
