True kaya ra ang TBM cost, ang problem man gud dire sa Pinas tanan govt construction ipa bidding sa private sector instead mo-invest/maintain sila ng mga construction equipments, TBM, road construction machinery etc. unlike to other countries. Mao tanan projects dire are expensive.

Kung mag-subway dire expensive gyud mahulog siya "per kilometer of tunnel" ang pricing, kay mo.profit pa man ang private sector and then naa pud siguro "Underground rights" bayron gihapon sa govt.

Though kailangan gyud studyhon ang Tunneling kay there are places dili sayon i-tunnel esp heavily built ang infrastructure above ground.

Ikaw ra man nag-insist na gamay ang road mao need gyud elevated na MRT/LRT, Im telling you instead elevated rail for rolling stock/train.. why not elevated highway for BRT mas cheaper solution, it doesnt need electricity and no need to buy P80M per coach

This is more on wise choice.. daghan PROBLEMS ang MRT/LRT sa Manila kanus-a man tawon na nahimo SOLUTION ? While ang BRT system have more success on other countries and it can transport more people than trains.
The problem sa imong arguments is gi-label man nimo TEMPORARY SOLUTION ang BRT the same ra man ang MRT/LRT sa elevated BRT but more cheaper.

And beside di sad ko satisfied sa plans nila... need gyud ang BRT ug dedicated lanes ug I like kanang ELEVATED form of BRT murag LRT/MRT.

Now lets talk of BRT and MRT/LRT in general, unsa man nakalahi anang elevated BRT against sa MRT/LRT ? kung dili pud elavated but DEDICATED ang lanes sa BRT how come mahuot man na for years to come ?

Again wa nimo gi analyze ang potential sa BRT and we are not talking yet the good effects kung mawala or ma.lessen ang mga PUV.

while ang MRT/LRT system will encounter more problems like kanang:
1. it needs stable supply of eletricity and we got one the highest rate in the world;
2. LRT/MRT had a tendency to be paralyze in times of derailment, train stoppage on one station; naa lang mag.suicide by jumping to the rail/train paralyze na for a few hours and mechanical issue like electric connections, engine etc;
Compare nimo sa BRT na pwede lang nila overtake ang other problematic buses di gyud ma totally paralyze ang system.
3. LRT/MRT carry less passenger, country like China prefer BRT.
4. cost of rolling stock like coach is expensive, imagine P80M per coach... pila na ka bus mapalit anang P80M.
5. kanang upgrade and maintenance costs are expensive with MRT/LRT mao mabayaan pag budget.

In summary theres so little can be done with the current budget we had... it has nothing to do sa "impotent ang utok natong mga pinoy" kay ang budget gipang deliberate na sa congress. Kung the sky is the limit sa budget First World na unta ang Pinas hehehe.

haha! Davao LRT proposal has been in NEDA for 3 years. Sakto gyud "NADA". Tomas proposed Cebu BRT to NEDA since the early 1990's, 2008 na nasugdan ang formal planning of DOTC , hasta karon planning stage pa gihapon.

in imperial manila, they just did a testing on BRT... how about that... facepalm sa mga taga-manila..
