ok raman sa akong 9600
@UCAV - quick buy new videocard! :P
im currently using 9600xt 256mb..... I was able to load the game but it still has artifacts everywhere..... I'm using a viewsonic LCD monitor..... Could the monitor be the problem
most likely driver issue ra na cya.
try to install the latest drivers or you can try the omega drivers.
i will trying an old catalyst driver or the omega driver tonight
i tried the old catalyst driver, the omega driver, the DNA driver but dili gyapon..... Mo load ang game pero daghan kaayo visual artifacts usahay dili makita ang map and usahay dili makita ang units..... Gi atot ba ani....
One good news though, I loaded the tutorial option for the game and it was very clean and smooth no visual artifacts.... Everything was perfect.... I think this has nothing to do with the ATI.... Civiliization 4 must have a coding bug which corrupts the image in certain ATI cards....
From what I have read in other forums about Civilization 4 some ATI cards worked wiithout a problem but majority have issues.....
lol i have ati and it works without problems >_> you need to do this for ATI to work, and go to the buttom and search for "Unpacking the Art Pack File:" and follow the steps.. http://www.2kgames.com/civ4/support_ati.htm
i did the unpack thing already last night mao gyapon gawas
as I said the tutorial will run without any problems....
Damn i tried playing it with a geforce 4 MX 64mb it played without any problems at low detail and low resolution
Firaxis should FIX this......
Some ATI cards work fine but most DON'T
I have an ATI 9600xt 256mb on Semprom 2800 nforce 2 Ultra....
well if i bought the game and it doesn't work, ill be writing to Firaxis about it now ahihihi
way problema sa ako Radeon 9550EE. Heavy overclocking pa ako 9550
I have experienced this error in the game sim city 4. which says an error loading
texture.
Make sure your video driver is thoroughly removed. sometimes videodrivers
can't be removed using uninstall drivers.
try the omega driver and use the driver cleaner to thoroughly remove the
video driver, then reinstall the latest drivers.
