    I would have to ask, what kind of games will you be playing and what is the general purpose of the overall system upgrade?

    an E5500 is still is sufficient enough for MMORPG paired with that GPU 6770 so there will be minor bottle necking not by a large margin and mag tan.aw ka ug HD movies kaya pana I've tried watching a 1080p sa E7500 okay paman kayu. Kung intense games gani naa jud na ang issue sa bottle neck, you get less frames than with a better cpu and never mind the smoothness lets look at FPS for performance for now.

    My suggestion
    for an AMD system pick an FX-4300 which is cheaper and a better alternative for intel i3. kung mag intel ka go for haswell kung maka huwat ka until next month and pick the Pentium series since you are on the budget. if you are to ask me I would be amd for overall performance and a little of future proofing. as for chassis and coolers N200 would be a great option and a Gamaxx400 for air cooling. All are good for limited budget.

    and Please refer to this thread here. https://www.istorya.net/forums/comput...get-gamer.html for system specifications

    There will a professional willing to give you advises as he already gave you some here.

    master, with the releasae of AMD's A10-6800k, is it comparable to FX series for i3 alternative?

    personally I don't prefer APU for any CPU alternatives let alone i3. Since naa namay discrete GPU ang TS. It would be a total waste of cash and utilizing what the APU is designed for. Para lang nako, APU is best suited for those mobile devices, laptops or notebooks would be good example for that. AMD has good market in that department.

    forgot to mention this as an OT, my apologies, what i meant is, for new builders getting apu to save their cash (for them not to atleast invest on gpu's anymore), would the a10-6800k comparable with the fx series for i3 alt.

    @senpai91,

    That too would have to be my obvious stand. The other side of the coin though is that the APUs are the cheapest 4-core out there, at least available in Cebu. If only the FX-6300 is available there, it would be a better choice. I recommend the 5600k for the CPU part of it and not the GPU. APUs by themselves and without a discrete GPU cant be a serious gaming setup, even if you consider the crossfire feature.

    And yes, with the TS'es video card and the level of games he plays, the E5500 is sufficient for now.

    (And thanks for the plug bro. Im far from being a pro though. )
