Adtoon nako unya ng duha ka lugar para maka sulti ko.
Adtoon nako unya ng duha ka lugar para maka sulti ko.
Ganahan rako'g beach ug chill2x, no island hopping/diving. Mas nindot gyud siguro sa El Nido based sa akong preference. Salamat!
mo ad2 kog el nido next year.. hehehe.. apiki man ang budget karon nga year..![]()
been to both, twice to Coron. Theres definitely more to El Nido over Coron, though, there are spots that Coron has that El Nido doesnt have like Lake Kayangan, Mt Tapias and Maguinit Hot spring.
Land Travel to El Nido though is looong. will take a lifetime
Wa pa ko anha ng duha ka lugar... bisitahon unya nako na if naa time.
Okay as promised, here are some pics of the sceneries and natural wonders of Coron... As you can see, wala kaayo beaches ang Coron... What's different is getting the chance to swim in clean lakes which have different temperatures with regards to depth as they are a mix of fresh and salt water... The shallow part is cool and the deeper part is really warm...

I did not bother posting pics about the city tour because I find them boring... My one regret about our trip to Coron was our cancelled trip to Calauit Safari... Next time hopefully, if the weather cooperates...

The best part of our Coron trip however is the beauty hidden underwater... Coral reefs in Siete Pescados, Coral Gardens and the Shipwrecks we were able to visit... These pictures does not do them justice. Believe me... Corals bigger than dinner tables, sea anemones, brain corals... Feast for the eyes...

Okay for my last set of pics is Barracuda Lake... A glimpse of what is beneath a lake with all the eerie rock formations... Very surreal place... You have to climb a limestone mountain for about 10-15 minutes before you arrive in the lake... This lake is f*in deep! 50+ meters and the thermocline is just fascinationg... From the surface: 4 meters of cold fresh water. Then 14 meters of warm salt water (=28 degrees celcius) and 34 meters of hot salt water (=38 degrees celcius) til the bottom. There is an underwater cave that only divers can go to... Tried to avoid posting pics with our faces as I try to simply show Coron and not some fugly faces but I only got a few pics of this lake so I apologize for showing our mug...
Lots of small shrimps also crawling up your skin and tiny catfishes...
