I do not know if VECO had the proper consultants or else the know how,
the risk is quite high not to mention the monsoon rains and threat of typhoons,
bringing a lot of conductive waters making that electrical power below ground
potentially deadly.
I think the Mayor has a point.

Good point but going further, I hope that Rama will do something about the drainage systems ASAP.

If VECO can assure the safety of the public, I see no reason why Mayor Rama should stop the project. If Cebu should move forward to modernization, we need changes such as this.

ideally that should be the case. realistically though especially in the Philippines, magduhaduha sad gyud ta. sa among place pa lang daan for some reason, kada bundak na lang ulan mobuto ang transformer. mga 5 times siya nahitabo in a span of two months. same condition, same post. you'd have to wonder whether banga lang gyud ang electricians or kulang or low quality ilang gamit
