What does corporate earnings have to do with basic salary ceiling? Are you saying basic salaried workers are shareholders in the company and therefore entitled to profit-sharing when corporations earn more money? Or are you saying the basic salary should be tied to the price of the stock? This makes no sense at all...

By the way, why would the corporate board work as employees, they are already working as board directors. And the definition of investor is, someone who puts their money up for capital for the purposes of generating profits, if they don't invest here there are 100's of other countries happy to take their money. I think you have it ass-backwards, the workers need the investors not the other way around. If the investors left, they can employ workers in other countries, but the workers here will become unemployed.
Just putting this out here. Be careful guys, I see a bubble coming.
