    ^ thanks bro...

sa write-up sa net about CS... dili man sya kuno mag need ug powerful GPU... need nya kay fast quad core CPU, 3 HDDs ug more system ram... 8GB as min... ideal nya to have 3 storage devices... 1HDD for the OS & CS apps, then 1 for the output storage then 1 as a scratch disk... SDD ang ilahang gi recommend... para ni sa uber high end set-up man hinoon ni...

now, sa akoang CS play rig... G840, 8GB (as of the moment), 1TB 7200 rpm HDD... ah, ok ra ni sya oi... hehehe... by the way, CS4 Premium Production Suite diay ang naa nko ron diri... 64 bit ang Photoshop CS4 nya ug naa pa to lain na mga 64 bit na...

kani lang gyud GPU ang libog ron... decided nko not to be stinged by the "nice to have"... GT 640 (2GB), GTX 650 (1GB) and GTX 650 (2GB) ang akoang options ron diri... mao ni price nila...

    > Zotac GT 640 (2GB DDR3): 4.1K php
    > Zotac GTX 650 (2GB DDR5): 5.7K php
    > Maxsun GTX 650 (1GB DDR5): 4K php

change of heart naman pud hinoon ko (among the 3)... mas pas2x man ang GTX 650 compared sa GT 640 then almost the same price lang sila... dili man mo matter ang GPU VRAM sa Photoshop noh? or sa mga uban na Photo Editing software and Premium CS and After Effect CS? kani, ask gyud ko'g idea ninyo ani kay para ma usa na lang ug palit ba... lingaw2x ra man ning akoa ani bah... para dili ma love ug home sick... hehehe...

One aspect that this type of benchmarking does not touch on is video RAM. If you are working with very high resolution stills or have a very complex timeline, you need a video card that has enough video RAM to keep everything in said vRAM or else the MPE acceleration is handed off to the CPU. The exact amount of vRAM needed is very difficult to determine ahead of time, but one formula from Adobe is available for amount of vRAM needed for still frames. This formula is (width x height)/16,384 megabytes. The example from Adobe in the post maximum dimensions in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, CS5.5, and CS6 is:

For example, one image size from a Canon T2i is 5184×3456. Doing the math, this requires 1,094MB, which just exceeds the 1GB available on the Quadro FX 3800, but is still within the 1.5GB of the Quadro FX 4800.

This is not very intuitive, so for the majority of users the geneal concensis among professionals using Premiere is that you want a video card with at least 1.5GB of vRAM. Most cards today use RAM in increments of 1GB, so when shopping for a video card you want to look for one with at least 2GB of vRAM. Once you have that sorted out, you can make use of our benchmark results to determine which video card is right for you to use with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.

oi, mas better diay ang Fermi based GPUs compared to the Kepler ones due to its memory bandwidth... hhhmmmm... beh, basa pa ta ug maayo...

Adobe Community: Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti Mecury GPU Acceleration CS5.5

pero, ok gyud diay ang Fermi based GPUs on Adobe Premier... the GTX 580 on this graph pero, pyts ang GTX 650 baya pud... gamay ra difference then barato ug gamay ra kaayo sya kaon kuryente... bang for the money ang GTX 660 (non Ti & Ti)... sweet spot sya...

bro, mangutana lang ko nimo kung mag unsa ka sa photoshop?

kay kung light lang..pwede ra the cheapest of your option..

sakong experience lang ha kay digital painter, graphic artist man ko. I'm using HD 6990 and HD6970 and previously GTX 560 Ti. out of all the three wakoy na bantayan nga difference kung mag work. like digital paint mo open kog 2 ka softwares SAI Easy Painting Tool and Photoshop CS6(but sometimes i open more kung naa nay environment invovled). Usually character designs and pin ups na ako pang digital paint with wacom intuos4. then kung mag graphics design ko. using illustrator still not a slight difference mabantayan nako.

just sharing my insights para naa sad kay idea kung what to choose.

    ^ bro,

    thanks kaayo sa inputs...

lingaw2x ra man ni akoa... extra PC man lagi... white elephant man gud... para magamit pud nko... hehehe... plan ko to do video editing (Adobe Premier and After Effects) pud later ani nya. bahala'g hinay kay G840 ra man ang CPU nya... pwede ra man nko padaganon ang rig bisan 1 week straight or even months diri... as long as mo uli ko for the evening para ma check pud ang condition sa rig... gamit-ton pud ni nko'g AutoCAD sya pud... para kalingaw ug drawing2x para magamit sa mga Quality related docs (work related)... dili man ko maka work ani diri sa office...

ah, nag order ko'g Maxsun GTX 650 2GB ron... kani lang para dili nko mag ilis ug PSU sa rig... 270 W (true rated) ra man PSU ato man gud then Short Form Factor GPU mobo pa gyud ang ma sulod nya... hope dili ko ma unhan as what happened sa Zotac GTX 650 2GB today... then hope na ma abot ni sya by Friday... isa na lang pud ang stocks sa 360 Buy na lang ra ba... tsk tsk tsk...

ang Maxsun or Inno3D IChiLL GTX 650 Ti Boost or GTX 660 (non-Ti) unta pero, mahal man sila compared sa GTX 650... na sayangan ko's money na duwa2x-an lang nko ang gipalit... tsk tsk tsk... pwede ra man ko mag swap sa dedicated use sa mini-ITX ug entertainment PC unta if long board ang mapalit... dili man pud ni serious akoang himoon... duwa2x lang man... kun ma serious ko ani, aw, igo napud ta's sakit ani... hehehe
