Maka save gyud when we start spending less. Nag cost cutting by investing on using natural light during the day, gibuslotan ang atop to let natural light get through the room. Sama niini Plastic soda bottles become light source - YouTube makatabang na labi na for small rooms.

We wrap all appliance cords (whole length) with aluminum tape then electrical tape to improve efficiency sa electricity nga moadto sa appliance labi na sa electric fan, washing machine ug ref. Any appliance or electrical load nga naay electric motor dako ang ma save sa ing-ani nga pamaagi. Make sure lang ang aluminum tape or foil will not touch any conducting material on the appliance cord or wire ug kinahanglan ma wrap ug electrical tape aron di dali maguba ang aluminum. For those big houses nga naay aircon, electric fan, washing machine ug water pumps nga migasto ug P10k ang electric bill, nakasave sila ug P3k sa ing-ani nga pamaagi. For small household, naay monthly savings nga P100 to P400 monthly sa electric bill with just one time gastos sa aluminum tape ug electrical tape.

Regarding food, niundang na kaon ug karne. It will take two months nga anam anam ug minus ang meat nga food intake. Fish nalang kinagmay and more on gulay, fruits (pinaka least nga naa ang saging hinog or linung-ag) and nuts na.

Simple pan or saging with water will do. Kung sa balay lang, natural fruit juice and water nindot pud as drinks. Walay softdrinks. Wala mi anang mga powdered juice drinks. Wala pud mi instant noodles pero mag ilog ug pancit miki with vegetables.

We avoid the daily intake of garlic and onions like we used to sa mga ginisa ug uban pa and buy atsal instead of garlic and onions. Ok ra mogamit ug garlic and onion kung manambal man gani but not daily. We don't use any instant nga panggisa, not good for the body. Rock salt instead of iodized salt ang gamit. Mao ni ang gibasihan nga source of information regarding garlic and onions: Why no Onions and Garlic?

Sa panglaba kay naggamit man ug washing machine, nag gamit mi ug loundry balls similar ani: Eco Green Laundry Balls
pero di gyud ing-ana ug brand or itsura ug barato ra to palit nako sa sm hardware kay gi sale that time, tag P25 ra while ang isa ka product gi display tag P190. A tubig sa first banlaw, gi save pang flush sa toilet bowl. Nindot ang resulta sa labada than using the conventional chemical detergents.

It will keep the soil moisture for a longer period of time aron magamit sa tanom or kahoy. Makasave ka time, makatabang pa sa palibot.

The more we spend less, the more maka save. Nindot pud naay additional income or sideline business aron naay pangpuno sa savings.

I highly recommend this book when it comes to budgeting...

"Money Mastery - 10 Principles That Will Change Your Financial Life Forever"

You may start with the following approach:

    1. Identify your source of income on a monthly basis.
Example: Your salary + partner's salary

2.Keep a record of your expenses on a daily basis. If you have a pc with MS Excel installed, you're good to go. Make your recording simple, you don't need to enumerate every details. But record everything for every P1 nga inyong gigastuhan.
    Example: Grocery, VECO, MCWD, etc..

    3. Do step 2 above for 3 consecutive months. From here, you will know pila imong average expenses.

    4. Categorize your expenses into two - household and school/miscellaneous.

    5. Allocate a monthly budget based sa imong findings sa step 3.
    Example: Household - 20T; School/Miscellaneous - 20T

    6. Record your expenses for the 4th month. Use this as your benchmark. At the end of every month, track your expenses. If you get a positive residual amount, maintain it. Otherwise, analyze your expenses in that category to find out what made your expenses to swell.
Example: Household monthly budget - 20T; Household monthly expenses - 18T
    Residual amount = 20T - 18T = 2T

The most challenging task when it comes to budgeting is discipline. The approach presented above may be tedious, but once you start doing it, it becomes a habit. When you reach step #6, you will be surprised nga naa kay ma identify nga mga unwanted expsenses. This is the good thing about recording and tracking. You can spot those expenses that are most likely attributed to our buying decisions based on emotions. I hope it helps.
