I think you have never experience how media sensationalize certain events and sometimes really blow it out of proportion. I have, and the Cardinal may have also experienced such unfortunate response from the media. Think for a moment. How many times will the media do anything for free and not for fee? How many times in the news that positive events related to religious activities are given prominence? Can you cite examples as to specific happenings nga nidagan dayon sa media ang Cardinal? Pila ka higayon ka nakakita ug nakadungog sa balita nga tali sa Cardinal nga positibo alang sa simbahan?

Integrity? Niingon diay ang Cardinal sa una nga ang media usa sa nagpahiusa sa simbahan unya karon niingon na sad nga ang media usa sa hinungdan sa way pagkahiusa sa simbahan? Hunahunaa nga ang topic sa imong argument ang media ug wala nay lain. Ayaw isagulsagol.

Cardinal Vidal sed he is ready to give the list of beneficiaries to the public. Yet- almost immediately, he changed his mind. I wonder if he really is ready to give us the names of those who got the money. If he won't, ever- then hangtod2x we will b wondering if it's true naa ba jud nga lain tawo nakadawat anang kwartaha. Better for him to give the list to the media. So dili mosamot kadaghan magduda sa iyang binuhatan.
Daghan na gud daan taga lain religion nanaway sa mga Catholics- this will be a bonus for them.
I say- let's urge the good cardinal to have the list printed in ol local as wel as national papers. And for him to concentrate on disciplinary action for his flock nga nanga - yabag- like those who've molested altar boys, impregnated women and have children, those who've gotten married and most of ol concentrate on hiring more gud men to become priests.
Presently and admittedly low na kaau ang morale sa mga catolico becos of ol these. Let him concentrate on dat kaysa mamolitica pa jud sya. Leave politics to the politicians.

Meanwhile, Vidal also clarified he did not accuse the media of dividing the bishops as earlier reported in a national newspaper last week.

Vidal said he only asked those who interviewed him if they were dividing the bishops.

“I was not affirming that it was the media who divided us. They just perceived my question as such,� Vidal said.

Vidal granted the interview at the height of allegations that some bishops have been receiving donations from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. These donations, Vidal had said, have been used to help the poor.
