hmm.. let me see.. perhaps its because the ONE still holds as one of the finest built phone ever designed by HTC? because of its premium build and sleek design comparable to the Iphone which attracts more users to get this phone.. (as most Samsung brands still holds also the distinction of being 'plasticky'), most iphone 5 users do, infact prefer to go and get the HTC ONE if they would ever go back to androids..

I think the ONE is way up there as still currently the most sought after smartphone in the market today.. INTERNATIONALLY that is.
i really dont know most people dont know about the HTC butterfly S but considering that it can play music for 3days nonstop now thats a good battery life for a smartphone this days and the build quality is still metal but with a touch of polycarbon plastic if they market this butterfly S correctly it will be more sought out than the one and it has expandable memory and u can change battery which is great and handy hehehe many people are already excited in this model in the US and a bit dissapointed of the ONE because of the battery life compare to this mostly upgraded HTC one hehehe

HTC had already marketed the original Butterfly internationally, and sadly.. it was an abymal disaster that people disdain it so bad and it flopped even in US soil (Droid DNA)... so i guess based on that bad reviews (here and there in most forums I know) from the original Butterfly... people are very keen and wary already when buying the next phone that has the "Butterfly" branded to it.

We could talk more on the Butterflys but I think we are a bit off topic already... this is the HTC ONE thread, so if you would discuss more on the Butterfly S, then I think this is not the thread to discuss appropriately..

    Cheers!

to each his own dude.. diff strokes for diff folks...

if the HTC ONers prefer their Ones.. then so be it.. no amount of persuasions you can make to sway them to their decisions on getting the phone.. Though I welcome your insight on to your coveted Butterfly S.. but like I've said.. this is the One's thread.. and be as it may... you and I are considered trolls on their thread...

let's carry on with a topic to and for the HTC one only.. shall we?

I really like the design on this phone. But 2 things. I wish they put in an sd card slot and I wish it was a replaceable battery.

Another thing, if you a black unit its easy to scratch and expose the aluminum underneath. Don't drop this phone... you will probably but a nice big dent on it.
