yeah, officially as reflected on intel's site, the IB i3's doesn't support PCIe 3... in theory, the bandwidth would be doubled from PCIe 2 to PCIe 3... at least on the paper but in actual benchmarks, negligible ra to even none at all ang performance difference nila... this is on gaming as reported on the most benchmarking sites... but for other apps for GPU computation (productivity apps like rendering or scientific calculations), no idea ko ani... need pa ko'g research para puno sa gamay na kaban... basin naa'y ma share na link ang uban ani... pwede share pud mo?... hehehe...
ideally, ang price difference sa reference variant to an OC variant (granting the same manufacturer) would be 1.5k php or less... if more than ani ang price difference nila, higher factory OC setting na gyud... mas mahal man ni sila'g gamiton na components pud sa board maong mag tangag ug price premium... performance wise, the capability of the GPU chip would be juiced gyud ug maayo...
deleted kay double post...

^ mahal ra man ang 3k difference ana nila bro... better, ang GTX 660 "non-OC" ang i-purchase then ikaw na lang ang mag manual OC ana nya gamit MSI Afterburner or requivalent... you can save that 3K php...
nag differ sila sa clock as well as memory frequency as reflected sa Palit site... naa pa ni sila difference sa components na gigamit sa board like sa VRM (voltage regulator module)... mas higher grade ang gamit nila sa OC variant compared sa non-OC version. diri gipatong ang premium. anyway, a reference (non-OC) variant can be OC'ed man pud... ang naka nindot aning GTX 660 kay gamay kaon sa kuryente (once i-OC, mo saka gamay but, gamay ra gihapon)... akoa lang pud ni i-mention diri kay worth mentioning man pud ni... once we'll do a manual OC on a GTX 660 OC Ed, its performance will be nearer to the GTX 660 Ti (reference)... kani, another savings pud ni... so, i-tailor ang imohang intended budget sa imohang need... or the other way around, i-tailor ang imohang need sa imohang intended budget...
For the clock freq:
GTX 660 OC Edition: base clock 1006 MHz (boost clock @ 1072 MHz)
GTX 660 non-OC (reference): base clock 980 MHz (boost clock @ 1033 MHz)
For the mem freq:
GTX 660 OC Edition: 6108 MHz
GTX 660 non-OC (reference): 6008MHz
once mag manual OC ka. kaaya ra kaayo ning OC factory setting sa Palit... again, you can save that "3K php"... mao ni ang main reason why there is always no stock @ PCX on the GTX 660 (non-OC), as you've mentioned kay ang mga namalit, kahibaw man sila sa secret in juicing the GPU and use that 3k savings to be added to the other PC components or direct that amount to other budgets...

The GTX 660 Ti is on par with the HD7950. You can never go wrong with either card. But, the cheapest 660 Ti cost 14k. You can have the HD7950 for 9k+. It's a no-brainer really, unless you're a fanboy or has been falsely convinced by one.
Between the non-ti 660. Go figure.
