I don't believe that the video games totaly contribute the violence in school shooting. Maybe a good share of that.

Besides, I love violent RTS (real time strategy) games (as expected, explosions, human screams of death... otherwise the battles are unrealistic). But I never bully a single person, let alone on killing.

In the case of Cho, he has an antisocial behavior. So there. I wonder who pulled the trigger of Cho's rampage...

here's another reason for school shootings before I blame it on Video Games....

BULLYING

"The best study ever on school shooters was done by the Secret Service," says Dr. Michele Borba, an educational psychologist and author who regularly appears as a parenting expert on "The Today Show."

"They looked at every school shooter to see if they could profile who the next shooter would be," she says. "Almost always they were boys. Almost always they were middle class. They had an easy accessibility to guns. The only commonality for every kid was that he'd been unmercifully bullied from a very early age."

Although many children who are bullied don't act out against others, they are at higher risk for depression and suicidal thoughts than other children.

To Lytslpr: Did you actually think about what you said in your posting? I seriously doubt it... I'm questioning your evaluation of this tragic situation. Have you ever even been to the United States? You think that this was possibly a case of "Social outcasting" or perhaps "racism"? The people who were brutally shot dead were members of an oppressed minority? Perhaps you feel that Cho was the real victim here? Get a grip.. To even mention that this massacre of innocent students might in some way be some kind of deserved "payback" to the US for its economic and/or foreign policies in utterly ludicrous!
