Lisod ni i-complain kay they pay the exact taxes for the amount charged pud. But would go for regulation of price in hospital supplies and meds. Just like the over-pricing sa medications even when you buy sa pharmacy by the pharmaceutical companies.

Lesson learned here is...get a 3rd party health insurance. You'll never know when your going to needed it especially daghan na klase sakit karon.

thanks for the comments. i've read some who posted na ngano sa mahal when dili ka-afford? i'll answer that. kasi po wala lain na hospital na duol diri. i'm not even concern of the bill kay wala pa man na lapas milyon. my concern is, the pricing itself, if asa jud ni i-report kay murag abusive na ni cya. i'm concern with people who don't have that much money to pay kasi wala nga rin choice sa hospital since wala kapilian. public hospitals dont have enough facility to check or come up with diagnoses. yung public hospital pa sige refer sa private.

i was just surprised sa pricing of common meds. what more pa kaya if prescription drugs na or something that local pharmacies don't have?

then comes the pending corporatization of public hospitals. they call it corporatization rather than privatization. i think similar ni sa PPP (public and private partnership). but logic lang, businessmen are not charitable workers.

agree ko ni sir spring...base on my experience before nka work man jud ko ug hospital unya IT pa jud..kami man ang mo encode sa pricelist sa tanan procedure ug items sa hospital basta ang regular items sa gawas is barato pero inig naa na sa hospital kay mo double or triple pa ang price basta inpatient ka..if out patient ka kay mga 40% ra na ang patung sa price..

    OT lng:
sa akong nadunggan why nag-ingon ani ni ang mga hospital...(based on a rural private tertiary hospital)
    1. electric bills. more than 100K or 150k or more..
    2. water bills. nalimot nko.
    3. repair bills. idk. esp. sigeg ayo sa mga 2nd hand units..
    4. stolen things
    5. new units. inutang pa. millions pa ang uban.
    6. salary sa Nursing dept ug non nursing dept. ug resident Doctors pa diay..
    7. gasolina sa vehicles
    8. maintenance costs
    9. lugi pa from patients who can't pay/ less pay or nagkasaka ang bills due to a bad case(can't transfer ky they can't fully pay the bills unless an agreement like collateral... collateral of less valued items. sometimes lot title.(dugay pa mahalin)
mao nang bisag asa ka lingi sa hospital, naningkamot ni sila makahalin...
mao nang dli kau mo hire ug staff bisag nagkaleche na work ang mga nurses ky tungod lugi pa ang income or naay utang sa new machines and other stuff..

idk, if this is still applicable. sign a waiver that you'll buy the medicine from the pharmacy outside the hospital..

    mao ning, "Bawal magkasakit!"

naa pa diay.. 10. inutang pa ang hospital building.

make sure na ang physician writes the generic name AND the brand name para less chance of getting counterfeit drugs. sa hospital that i work in, pwede man na ang patient maoy mupalit sa mga kailangunun, and they can buy it in our hospital pharmacy. mas makabarato sila kaysa i-charge kay they pay it with cold cash. pero mas makabarato gyud ug outside na pharmacy. but be sure na kasaligan sad ang imung palitan.
