It's quite difficult and discomforting to reveal and share negativities and most macabre secrets with a bf/gf out of fear and abandonment, quite opposite with a more trusted best friend.

technically, you can't really compare these 2 if you are not given a specific point on where to compare.

but anyway, for me, it really depends on what kind of relationship you have with your boy/girl friend (b/gf). i will just give a few examples...

1. you can't marry your best friend => (b/gf is better)
2. you can't sleep with your bff => (b/gf is better)
(unless you are f with b)
3. you can fully express yourself when you are with your bff
(but this is also true to b/gf if you are very open to each other)
4. you can tell secrets to your bff
(can also tell secrets to b/gf just like in # 3)

Here's a thing about introverts - They are not open to many people. They usually quiet and dont really like attention. So if introverts like you enough to show the real them, then you must be very special.
