The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) denied that Rioklyn Toledo was a registered commercial pilot since his name was not listed on the CAAP’s roster of licensed and registered pilots.
According to CAAP corporate media officer Floramel Joy Songson, the only record they found on Toledo was an appointment for a drug check with the CAAP last January which he never showed up for.
“He never showed up for the drug check, so he was never issued a pilot’s certification. Since he was never issued a certification, he ( Toledo ) is not a registered pilot,” Songsong said.
