    actually d kyo hazardous ang graveyard if u exercise a lot, eat proper food, dont skip meals....
    lessen d pork hehee...jog everytime u got out of office...at least 3x a week...

    d problem lang kung every month pirmi ga change imu shift....madaut metabolism sa imu body ana....

    *sigh* everything causes cancer these days...next thing we know, they'll come out with a study proving that even the mere act of breathing causes cancer...

    these things should be taken with a grain of salt...

    well axctually their are already alot of studies about the air that we breath causes cancer. just about "dioxin in the air".

    actually the study about working graveyard shift causing cancer was not about the physical activity or the diet. the study was linked to the hormone called melatonin and its relation to the circadian rhythm (our body's internal clock).

    darkness stimulates production of melatonin so our body produces most of it during night time. light suppresses its production. so if you work night shift then you are exposed to light during this time (unless you work in a totally darkened room) so that means your body might not be producing enough melatonin. and it is believed that melatonin is a very stong antioxidant that suppresses abnormal cell growth (cancer), prevents aging and strengthens the immune system.
