Solving crimes is not just pointing your finger to anyone that you feel guilty of a crime...that's street judgement... the real justice is when you finally solve the crime with the right evidences. Evidences may be tampered and many such ways to cover up. It may be the system or the persons tasked to do the job who takes the blame if one case is not solved. But oftentimes we neglected that each one of us is somehow part of this problem too.
Like for example, how many times have you covered up a friend when he/she asked you to lie for him/her? How many of us knows that our neighbor/s are snatchers, drug addicts, drug dealers, drug lords, engaged in illegal businesses, murderers, or politicians protecting illegal businesses, etc? Now how many of us went to the authority to tell this? Telling Lies is just one of the Root Causes why Crimes/Murders are unsolved, not just in the Philippines.
So it is up to us individuals how we participate in such cases. The integrity of our Law Enforcers is just one of the aspects/factors to consider in this matter. But let us not just settle down on what we see from them, let us also check if deep inside us we have done our parts too. This way we can practically say that this is the reason why TOO many Murders/crimes unsolved in the Philippines or anywhere in the world.
