True . Nothing changes in warfare but China has drastically changed their military forces over the years while Philippines were busy with their EDSA non sense .

    Philippine-American War, 1899-1902 | by Arnaldo Dumindin

Realistically speaking , Philippines only won few battles but not war . Filipinos were under Spain's ass for more than 300 years . It wasn't even Katipuneros made the Spain surrender and kicked them out . It was the US ! It was only a fake war when the US "invaded" Manila that's why Pinoy insurgents aka Katipuneros weren't allowed to enter the "war zone" . Philippines didn't even put a fight vs US during the PHL-American war so Aguinaldo gave up instead . During WWII , Filipino men let the Japs rape their wives because they can't put on a fight - US and Flips were defenseless . I wonder what would've happened if McArthur didn't returned .

Now tell me , since when did the Philippines won a war by themselves ? Loooooool ... Puro lang palaban sa US kay ally kuno , pero katong wala pa ning Spratleys dispute isog kaayo nga ipa kick out ang mga US troops sa Subic .

and yes we had war with milf and other insurgents in mindanao, who is asking for an independent state. but does also china had its own rogue province named taiwan. we should worry more of this insurgencies when they have their own air force, navy, army like those taiwan had im sure things are being resolve as peacefully as possible; if theres a political will.. we can end it. cge ra man peace talks then ambush or hit town then war na pud, mao man na ang cycle at least naa pay control ang philippine government whereas nag mini cold war ang china and taiwan.
You're misleading . There's nothing wrong with glorifying the past and teaching history classes . What's wrong is people are posting their delusional thinking that Philippines will win the war against China just because we won the Battle of Yugtong Bridge in Korea in way back in 1951 . WTF !!!

You can't possibly be talking about my forefathers. Do not embellish things you do not know, because as outgunned as the Filipino freedom fighters were, they fought. Bolo to Arisaka rifles, Filipino fists to Japanese bayonets, when they didn't have the comfort of using old American weapons. There is a reason the Japanese weren't able to completely pacify the country despite putting a sufficient garrison.

Also it wasn't a "fake" war. Don't try to pass off conspiracy theories as true. The Spanish-American War is real, and it wasn't solely fought in the Philippines. It was also in Guam, Puerto Rico and Cuba. Don't tell me Spain would willingly allow several of its forces to be decimated, an entire fleet to be destroyed, and collapse of their empire just to "stage" a fake war. The Americans captured Manila, unbeknownst to them that the Treaty of Paris had already been signed, ffs.

Who is talking about winning war? Because the last time i talked with a world war two veteran it was not about winning the war it was defending your right till your last breath. Man I think you should get your history right> Men did let the Japanese rape their wives, they were in the mountains planning guerilla attacks. There are women wives who were raped in front of their husbands though. You don't need to be a soldier to be part of the movement against the Japanese, even during the Spanish revolution dili man mga sundalo ang mga taw. They were normal people like you and me.

Kahibaw naa man gyud mga Filipino na parehas nimo. Kung World War 2 pa, MAKAPILI ka.
