i agree with you peepz.....federal-parliamentary form of government would surely eliminate too much politics in our country and speed up creation of laws and rules to make our government stable.

but do you think that charter change would be approved because some filipinos or maybe most of the filipinos don't know what's a parliamentary form of government or a federal government

so, as what vice president noli de castro said. that we should first educate the people particularly those poor people in the squatte area........before ammending in the congress.....

    WHAT DO YOU THINK

this is one of the reason why it would take time to fully embrace such system...

I strongly believe that all our current problems today cannot be solved readily and practically unless... we should suddenly discover an infinite source of clean energy...

Our problems will have its effects reach to the next generations, so its better and more wise that in the long run we should focus more into projects concerning education and value formation for the youth in order to equip them with the capability and morals to acquire solutions.

And I'm talking about making sure that education options and scholarships are available to every Filipino Child on Every Island, proper control of material of various media like TV and dailies, protection of the rights of children etc. etc.

The hope of this country will forever lie in its Youth.

Our country will never achieved its goal unless we people learn to accept one another, understand each other, start thinking about things which is more imporatant mother nature, turn away from greed, gossips, passiveness, start thinking about life not money, let youself control you, not let yourself controlled by the others, start dicipline in your self, don't try to decipline people... and start on valuing your own not those things that don't have any value...

What we need is a very strong leader who has all the political power to:

1.) Fully and strictly enact the Death Penalty
2.) Fully and strictly enact population control
3.) Fully and strictly enact necessary laws and reforms without being intimidated by so-called accusations of defacto martial law and other brainless accusations
4.) Fully and strictly enact a boundary between the church and state... this can be achieved by implementing nos. 1 and 2 above...
I would love to see this kind of leader. However, if such a leader exists and is in power on our country today, he'll have to deal with the most influencial group who, I believe, will stringly oppose his position... The church, esp the archbishops and down to their heirarchy. The other group who will strongly oppose him will be the human rights group. *sigh* Sayang.

Anyway, as for my suggestion, why not make a research and development program regarding agriculture? Research on maybe how to grow food faster, make the food bigger, or maybe make them even more delicious? We already have abundant agricultural materials, so why not improve them? In turn, this may solve the hunger problem in the Philippines a bit, and maybe we can have export food products. Well, that's just my suggestion.

Giving the youth proper education and value formation is the long term plan. if you think about it, the children today will be the leaders and the citizens of this nation.. let's equip them with the proper knowledge and even more important the right values to do even more than what has been done in the previous nation.

other nations like saudi arabia has oil, south africa- diamonds and japan its technology... our nation's economy has one major resource... and its our manpowe! we're already valued highly because of our competent communication skills and this is due to good education!

Education is key! Support projects and foundations that push for providing the right education and value formation to our children!
