salabat or ginger powder.. mapalit ra sa mga supermarkets. but if gusto mo maghimo, dali ra pud:
1. The ginger roots are peeled and then sliced very small.
2. The juice is squeezed from the grated ginger using cheesecloth.
3. The fibrous remains of the roots are discarded.
4. Mix 1 cup of ginger juice with 1 cup of sugar.
5. Heat on high fire until it boils.
6. Set at low fire while continuously stirring the mixture until it turns into powder.
7. The resulting powder is then cooled and sieved.
