Mao jd na ang main concern ani bai budget n2 sa education,lack of teachers not to mention the quality.. and class rooms and other school paraphernalia labi na sa mga rural areas ma.sad lng gd q maghuna2x sa kahimtang sa uban schools sa rural areas labi na kung ang mga estudyante naningkamot nya kulang ra jd ug suporta sa gobyerno.. to think hinay pa au ang increase sa a2ng economy about 3.7% ra dw sa last quarter sa 2011 layo pa au sa goal ni PNOY nga 7%

i agree gyud bro.... i think the government should focus on this and pour more budget and brilliant minds to think deeper for the common good......

Do I think K+12 is a good idea? Yup. Is the Philippines ready for it? Nope. Standardize the current educational system (and everything else for that matter), and it'll be easier to transition to a new system. What I like about K+12 is that (supposedly) high school graduates will have wider job opportunities. You don't have to go to college to get a decent job. And this way students will be able to really cultivate their personal interests into a college major that they like, and not just for the sake of earning money.

Quality education takes Time.. hehe pro mas nindot jud kng ma naa na ang K+12. kay para ma change na sad ang trend sa mga studyante.. mas mu mature cla. kay kasagaran mu tung2x ug college kron ky mga wa pay buot..

k12 challenge sa nasud. ang pangutana andam ba ang pinas mo implement ni ini sa 2016. para nako dili. kulang sa pundo ang gubyerno. education is not the priority of the government. k 12 lagi sa pangalan but in essence dili kay wala man sakto budget and preparation for proper implementation. wala klaro na coordination and dep ed, Ched ug TESDA. mauna nga wala klaro michanics , policies, guidlines, curricula, textbooks etc para ini nga systema. wla man gani feasibility study, wala time to prepare, wala dry run. so kining K 12 . experement pani... ang mga kadagkuan sa dep ed muingun lang its up to you. dili na pwede kay we are into standardization of education. moreover, wala pa ang law or republic act whatever... hapit na ang election....

inig abot sa election tingalig dili nani ang priority sa bago na admin so mawala rapud parihas sa UBD ( understanding by design) dako gasto guberno UBD wala maklaro implentation. karon K 12 i dont know kung i apply paba and UBD. kini man gud na mga programs poltically motivated man gud ni.... yes we want to follow the system of other nations especially advanced countries mau mani effect globalization gud....pero ang ato mind set ug culture dili pa ready ini. mauna it will take 30-50 years before ma properly implemented and K 12 sa Pinas considering our poor economy.....

K 12 has nothing to do with improving the quality of our education sa pinas. it only imitates the number of years sa educational system nga giadopt sa advanced and developed countries. ok man to sa ila kay nindut man economy... sa ato wala klaro economy kay corrrupt ang goverment. K 12 does not answer the lack of classrromms, chairs, computers, textbooks, references, training and quality of teachers and instructions, facilities..... so dili jud ma achieve ang atong dream for quality education. bisan K 21 pana kung wala klaro facilites, books references, quality of instruction wala gihapon na....

ingun and proponent sa k to 12 na highschool graduate ready na sa world of work... how can k 12 philippines guarantee that wala paman claro ang curriculum ini. ang gusto sa k 12 na ang mga pinoy skilled workers na. kita ang mo supply ug laborer abroad sa mga developed countries kay dili man nato ma employ dayon ato highschool graduates kay wala man gihimo ang philippine government ini. our economy cannot provide descent jobs for its people. mauna challenge ni sa atong tanan. bisan pag k 21 pa maglisud jud gihapon ug trabaho ang mga pilipino kay the poor economy cannot provide a descent job and a descent wage for the filipino worker.... muingun sila hala pangabroadd. dili sayon ug lalaim ang mangabroad. lisud ang malayo sa pamilya plus dili garante na skilled ka maka abroad ka. kadaghan skilled workers na naapply sa abroad na wala maka abraod. daghan pud ang niuli ug gipauli....

ako impression sa k 12 ang mga general education subjects ibutang sa senior high para ang college ug ang university majors nalang tanan, wala mo kyapi.... bout ninyong himuon na ang college ug university na merely vocational and technical. hey educators.. labi natong kadagkuan sa dep ed wala mo kabalao na ang general education courses are humanizing agetns of education. bout ninyong mag produce siguro ug robots and machines not humans.... what kind of government and nation will the philippines be kung ang producto sa iyang mga colegio ug universidad are robots and machines not humans. the general education courses are the foundation of humanity and civilization.... so dili na siya dapat tang tangun sa college or university.....

unsa kaha na school of thought or educational theory ang gigamit sa k12 well the very principles behind k 12 are pragmatism, utilitarianism, materialism, consequntialism, hedonism, capitalism, globalization and the like. K 12 is reifying the the human person. himuon nalang ang tawo ug tool, instrument, machine........ so dapat huna huna un jud ni ug tarong sa mga Pilipino especially sa mga christian ug catholic educators...... kay tingalig musimang ni sa mga mission, vision ug core vlaues sa ilang educational institutitions......
