Just read the Official IMG thread bai. You can read on the arguments and it's up to you to decide if pro or con ka.
Our clients are not required to join to invest. The opportunity is shown and naa ra nila if they want it.
Our compensation system is almost the same sa traditional insurance company.

We're using a 35 year old system and companies like Ayala, Metrobank, Unionbank, Cocolife, and Philamlife will not partner with us if they think we can ruin their name due to a bad system of marketing.

try mutual funds bai, 12% per annum is conservative return na.

Banks and mutual funds are way different when it comes to investing.
If you want conservative projections, you can stick to 12% return, tax free. Way better than 4% return sa time deposit.

Banks will give lesser returns kay sila may mo invest sa mutual funds.

Time Deposits with all banks in PH have very low rates. Try and check with BPI, they have a market linked investment plan (for minimum 30 days, which you cannot cancel in between) which is usually around 1.00 - 1.5% for the month. Minimum investment used to be 50k, it may be different now. You need to check at branch for that.

I dont know if 'Gold Bonds' or 'Bullion Bonds' exist in PH, but those are a great option. I would recommend Silver Bullion as a great investment opportunity. Price inflation over the last 3 years has been around 300% from 2008.

From what I read on this very interesting thread, MF also invest in stocks. Point of user199 is being transparent by showing the "positions" of the MF, since he is the doubting type.

Wishful thinking lang: with a daily "position" of the MF managers, we can just mirror their transactions. Buy what they buy; sell what they sell. If they always earn money then it follows I will also earn money since my strategy is the same as theirs (maybe 1 day late). The risk involved is minimized as these traders research what they trade. And since I am trading on my own, I don't pay any commission. correct ba?

If only they will share. hmmmm. My only risk in trading independently: if I lose money in stocks/MF, it's lost; when the bank closes; go to PDIC.


As for the title of the thread: try Bank of Makati in Colon street. check out their rates as this varies with amount.
