-- Yes, Insuline "crutches"...but these was the last resort and I think was used only a few years back, considering he has outlived many of his "diabetic" contemporaries...prior to that, we tried herbs-ampalaya, and even boiled neem tree leaf..I am a firm believer of natural solutions - God given remedies of folk medicine and would often clash with my brother - a Doctor of Medicine. Good for them, they have the money, what about the factory workers I work with...hardly enough money to buy food and their one capsule is already the cost of a day's salary..my heart drops for them...

My family are advocates of HERBS and SPICES and their HEALING WONDERS . Even the fruits and vegetables are provided by God as part of His creation for us to enjoy and discover .

We are avid consumers of SOUR SOP ( Guyabano ) , proven to PREVENT all kinds of CANCER .

The very reason why ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE is not in line with WESTERN MEDICINE is that , the latter has SCIENTIFIC STUDIES with proven results . But the basis of both practices shares the same foundation , the power of NATURAL HEALING from NATURE itself .

I am also hoping that this will be practiced by all , to find out and enjoy nature and its use holistically .

I believe that everything we need was already provided for by God as long as we follow the rules set by him. It is when we transgress these rules that we directly or indirectly cause harm to ourselves. My friend once told me, that when God said, that we shall managed(authority over) this earth and go and multiply - what he meant was not the reproductive way of multiplication, but to discover what the good mother earth has there provided for us. We should multiply the knowledge and knowhow and appreciate what is in store for us. In the Philippines, there is so much wealth and resources that there should be no poverty and hunger and street children. We are a country so blessed and wonderful that I believe that we are a country so unique that we are indeed a special kind of people. The philippines has so much for everyone to share - there should be no floods and sufferings. Abundance in food as there will be so much for everyone.

The aquaponics concept I am proposing is the ultimate solution to our flooding problems in every part of our country. The canals, rivers and lake will be prestine as can be. Rain and downpour should be a blessing not a curse due to greed. It is just a matter of how we "engineer" our environment. It should not even cost billions of pesos, but a little common sense. If each family can collect 2 or 3 cubic meter of rain for their sustainable water supply for their aquaponics, can you imagine how much water is retained and does not go to flooding and is wasted. Thus I always wish it would rain, to replenish my water resource and thank the heavens for the downpour...God given, free and clean water..

Changing habits is very difficult - I think that is true for most of us, but we can change little by little, and before you know it you have gone a long way. That is neutralize an undesirable habbit by replacing it with another a desirable one..start with your dreams, that is easy...and what you want to become..the rest will follow -

Aquaponics - is a simple solution to a "flooded" problem...people will then realize that rain is a blessing rather than a curse...protect mother earth and it will protect and provide you with what money cannot buy.
