if experience was the most important thing, then, post grad education is absurd!
why do they take MBA? why take Masters? why take Doctorate?
COZ THOSE FULL OF EXPERIENCE STILL NEEDS MORE EDUCATION... NOBODY KNOWS EVERYTHING... and there is no better place to learn fast, easy, and risk free than the school!!!
i was simply proving a point that to know how to count does not require u to be a college graduate. i never said they hire undergrads. some do but most dont. Â*and hence the reason why i pointed out that if people dnt close their mind to that pc of paper then there will be more job opportnities for unddergrads.
there are a lot of reasons why ppl take up mba. not all of them for the things they learn in school. some for the people they meed and the contacts they get to have.
cashiering isnt the only job that does not require a colelge Â*degree. there are actually a whole list of other jobs that undergrads can do and some even better than degree holders. but let's not get into that. that has already been pointed out by another forumer.
and about your niece knowing how to count. can your niece count beyond 1000? dont be absurd. you and i both know its not just counting. but a person with common sense and of the right age to think maturely and logically can certainly do a cashier job. which also doesnt require a degree to acquire such.
another reason for taking up mba is it opens more doors. more oppurtinties. Â*and higher salary.
im not completely blind to what a diploma can give its holder. im simply frustrated that some people undeesimate non-degree holders
yea i am one of those people. just because i dnt have one doesnt mean im stupid. ive had my share of people who belittles what i have to say but fortunately most people ive encountered knows i have something in between my ears.
you have a point. cooking can be learned in and out of school. but it's not as easy as you make it sound. Â*it takes a whole lot of practice before you can cook well. its not just cooking but you also have to do presentation/food styling. bieng a chef is not easy. it takes a whole lot of responsibility. they cant just mix and match ingredients without thourough understanding of the ingredients. and dont forget chefs are responsible for the stomach and lives of the people. you cant just go to your garden and gather herbs. there are a lot of poisonous Â*plants. there are also some ingredients that can be poisonous if too much is being used. if he doesnt know what hes doing then the lives or the people are in great jeopardy.
if you understand what im and was saying i said experience is more imporatant because that is where u get to learn most things and that's where you apply most things you learned. but i never said the things we learn are not important.
if people only care to open their eyes they will see that the things we learn going to school can also be learned outside. they are different ways and means of learning things. Â*which is how they see education. where you learn things. Â*but sad to say that they think going to school is the only way to learn.
