Works could not save you bro. It would probably be like HAWTHORNE effect in research. You'll act positively, do your human will better than that of your usual because you are aware that you are graded and measured. Same with what you're trying to say. You'll perhaps go to church, do this and that just to prove you are good and would then receive salvation. That isnt genuine now cause you know for fact that you wanted salvation as a result of what you did. Totally wrong equation.

Salvation isnt works plus faith.

It is, FAITH plus GRACE RECEIVED (many are called but few are chosen).

Good works are just the manifestation of you being Christ like. It is intrinsic of you as Christian. It is a result of your faith. Not a mere addend, multiplier or dividend, for that matter. God be with you!

ako born again christian man ko.. pero as of now lisud i tuo... nakita nako unsa ka plastic mga tao... mo adto lage sa simbahan pero ig gawas.. tu-ara.. naay na kit-an ni gawas ug hidden lodge.. mga daygon pajud kayo!~!! ang usa tu-a sa mango hala nagpahubog... singer pajud sa praise and worship.. tu-a sa pier 1 sa parkmall naghubog2x maayo... ang usa kay miembro sa youth ministry.. naa sa mango nag youth kadlawn.. may lang post2x sa FB verses from the Bible.. pero gi tago diay tong tinuod unsa sila.. karun hapit anko 2 months wa mo simba balik.. makawalag gana oi.. bahala masuko mama di musimba.. maypag WALA!! @_@

This is very true bro for a newbie! but don't get discourage, set your eyes upon the finished work of Christ on the cross. Just one encouragement, draw yourself to God and he will draw nigh to you...that's the secret to improve our relationship with him. Dili pwede ang Ginoo atong pagukoron sa atua permi.

When Jesus was crucified in the Cross waiting to die, naa duha ka self confessed criminals didto ug ang isa ga insulto ni Kristo:

Luke 23:

39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”

41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

Wheres the Good works in that situation that is a requirement for salvation?

My Point is there will be times that theres No chance to do good works but has a lot of time to have true Faith.

If God sets good works for salvation then the there will be "conflicting settings" in word of God on that situation.

salvation is by grace through faith, not by works, so that no one can boast.

If you have True Faith only God knows, if you add good works, pwedi ang tawo mubuhat ug maayu kay para pakitang tao or para maluwas which is Not the objective of Gods law.

For me, Gods law is Like a Software - If there's a conflicting settings or Possibility of it on that software then its Not perfect.
