It's been a long time not to have spent time with the IPC and joined photowalks. I am inspired by the answers provided. I hope that the sched. for the photowalk will not get in conflict with my operation. I hope to join the photowalk before getting sliced. hehehehe

Im not much of an expert but here goes:

1. When you take a picture, what are the things you look for?
First, you look for things, then you take a picture. It's not the other way around. Different things appeal to different people. For some, it may be a very beautiful model with all the best styling and HMUA application. Yet for some, just dry leaves, broken windows, torn paper, sidewalk graffiti, etc., can already make their day. If you want to be a photographer, shoot what appeals to you. This will depend on how happy a child you were or what customs you were exposed to, or your education, etc.

2. What inspires you to specialize in one or more photography field (i.e. landscape, portrait, panoramic, macro and the like)?
No one is a specialist in any of the list you mentioned. Most of us, have studied, tried and tried to sell from all of it. Being in a 3rd world country, anyone would jump on any oppurtunity to shoot any of those, given a paying shoot.

3. Why are you specializing on one field of photography?
Who is? A specialist is an artist who in one way or another have mastered the craft to a very high degree - and uses it sparingly. I've never seen anyone in Istorya who only shoots a single specific field.

4. What tips, suggestion and advise you can give for a newbie like me who wants to be in photography?
Learn everything first, that is: properly exposed and sharp images. Good composition, balance with good lighting. Never try styles first! its never an excuse to use HDR or LOMO or Black n White to fix a badly shot image.
