Default Re: Is it right to call all of us children of God or we love God?

    Ironside:
okay let me put it straight. When Solomon said:
Ec 8:17 then I saw all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun.
Was he talking about the Creature workS of God, referring to the creatures that He made here on earth that includes bacteria and other microorganism that you say in your post?
Or was Solomon referring to the Providential WORK [NOTICE THE SINGULAR, THIS SHOULD GIVE US A HINT] of God?

Then i will give you a hint also , if it is singular as you say then why it is "then I saw all the work of God"?
Can you say all to a singular?
Give you an example, is a Band (music) a singular? then can you consider a Band with only one member?

    Peace!

Exactly my friend, that's why it refers to the PROVIDENTIAL WORK OF GOD, right? not Creature Works of God.

Can u show us from the context, if Solomon was talking about the Creature works of God?

It's clear there my friend that "all work of God". Thus God create everything?
    It's for you to decide.

For me the verse says clearly but your opinion "PROVIDENTIAL WORK OF GOD, right? not Creature Works of God."
then its hypothetical. You supply the providential work of God because you can accept that solomon has an honest mistake when he declaire or utter this word. Don't put yourself a limitation my friend. Think of it when solomon really mean all work of God refers to everything or not? Look my friend i just answered you the verse then you answer me which is not biblical or just your opinion. All prophets of God and apostles are prone to error or mistake but when it came to the Gospel then i can attest you that they are true and they can be wrong with that.

Then again answer my question, what particular Church Name do you belong?
Seems like your avoiding this question.

Are you afraid that i will ask more questions about your doctrine. then if not tell me so that i can ask question
    biblically not hypothetical.

    Peace!

I'd say first we are children of God. Along with that we should love God too. Is it right? well, who else. for me it is.

in biblical teachings, all are created by God but only the israelites are the children of God - all others are gentiles. in the new testament teaching, anyone can be a child of God if they receive and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and King (see John 1:12) and the Holy Spirit bare witness that you are indeed son of God (see Eph. 1:13).

The title of being the children of God to israel has been remove to them due to their transgression.

That's why he said "seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness" mat 6:33.
But there are still Israelites in SPIRIT. Gentiles and Israelites are one when Jesus came.

    Peace!

    MY REPLY:

Soriano your leader taught that Solomon committted a mistake when he wrote these words:

Ec 8:17 "Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea further; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it."

Because according to your leader Soriano:

"How can Solomon behold ALL THE WORK OF GOD? Has he seen already the microscopic world of the bacteria, viruses and other organisms that can only be seen by the help of a microscope. So Solomon made a mistake here when he said that. "

Actually Solomon did not made a mistake when he said that, Soriano misunderstood Solomon. The word "WORK" in the expression :"Then I beheld ALL THE WORK OF GOD" in Hebrew is the word Maaseh <----a transliteration of the original Hebrew word.

The word is often used to refer to the labor, deed or behavior or activity of persons. It does not refer to the creatures of God like bacteria, dogs, horses, tigers and other creatures created by God. Rather it refers to the Providential activities or Providential DEALINGS of God here on earth----->What He allows and not allow to happen.

The word "Maaseh" in this verse refers to the ACTIVITY OF GOD, HIs providential dealings and activity in the world not what Mr. Soriano your leader understood it to be.

    1) That is why if you just continue reading the verse it says:

Ec 8:17 then I saw all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun................"

"DONE under the sun." Not CREATED under the sun.

    2) Solomon could not have meant the creaturess of God for he continues:

Ec 8:17 then I saw all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun. 1) For though a man labors to discover it, yet he will not find it; 2) moreover, though a wise man attempts to know it, he will not be able to find it.

Notice the underline words. question:A man [even a wise man for that matter] will not be able to discover, know and find the creatures of God? [Granting If Solomon really meant the creatures of God]. Kuya Kim certainly discovered and found many of them. Just watch the 6:30 news in ABS CBN.

But he [Solomon] was not referring to the creatures that God has made here under the earth, he was referring to the Provdential activities of God done here on earth which man often find unexplainable though how much he labors to discover the rational of such thing. Even wise man are often times at a loss in trying to explain what is happening here on earth.

What are some of the seemingly mysterious and unexplanable Providential activities of God here on earth?

    Just read the proceeding chapters:

    Sample:

    A) Solomon cannot explain why the same things often happen to both good and evil men. Why God allows them to happen in His Providence:

Ec 9:2 All things come alike to all: One event happens to the righteous and the wicked; To the good, the clean, and the unclean; To him who sacrifices and him who does not sacrifice. As is the good, so is the sinner; He who takes an oath as he who fears an oath.

    B) Why God allows things not to always go to those who are deserving:

Ec 9:11 I returned and saw under the sun that-The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.

    and etc.

Solomon was referring to the PROVIDENTIAL WORK OR ACTIVITIES OF GOD HERE ON EARTH NOT CREATURE WORKS OF GOD AS MR. SORIANO TEACHES.

Solomon was not wrong. Soriano falsely accused Solomon of error.
