People usually mistaken Gordon's being straight forward for arrogance. It(his being straight forward) should have been something to be taken as a challenge to oneself since you yourself know that it is the truth.

That is one of reason that Gordon did not win the elections, because people without good reasoning take him as an enemy for implementing the law with strictness. Mahilig man sila ug lax lang... mao bale wala ra ang mga balaod nato.

Dick Gordon was my president and will always be my president. I am for him because not only have I've seen his accomplishments but he has inspired me in ways that have made me become better person. Have I personally met him? Not yet. I missed the chance when he came to visit the group of Volunteers here in Cebu. But I have a great feeling that I will meet him one of these days. I don't get vexed with arrogant people so long as they are right.
