Does opening a savings account really teach kids how to save? My sister opened BPI Jumpstart accounts for her kids and they’re so much more kuripot now! What do you ladies think?

I have my kid enrolled at Banco Filipino for that kiddie savings but i never thought that the bank will go down.

I think i just let my kid register at a Cooperative in our town.. I am sure that fear of getting a bank run will not happen in a coop.

Coops function more or less like a bank. If mamismanage ang investments mayabo ra gihapon. K ra sa BF kay naa pa PDIC. Diversify nalang jud to secure your funds.

Buti nalang may BPI Jumpstart mga anak ko! Thanks sa mga moms na nag recommend. When I forget to give them allowance, I just deposit it in their bank accounts and they can withdraw nalang. Convenient talaga!
