Mohatag sila SLA, pero ibutang didto nga 50% ra ang ibutang nga Target System Up-time and Availability

On a serious note, even if they would fail in delivering the promised internet badnwidth (I doubt they would be able to deliver anyway), knowing that your intranet can run at that speed, this would be good news to companies with multiple branches all over the country, much faster speeds branch to branch at much lower costs (than their current IPVPN rates, no data, local loop only).

Sorry to offend you about this pero na tagam ra siguro ka sa old services nila.
hahaha dont worry bro, walay offend offend sa akoa anything goes here in this forum...anyways we're just sharing opinion here... that's why i post ealier if megabits per seconds i have no question. If globe has a capacity to upgrade everything of a short period of time without compromising their services then that should be good to the consumer. but for me i dont believe to achieve that in a short period of time. maybe on their ends pwede but from their end to the consumer? i dont think so.

2nd - Am not defending that Globe guy but being in the Telco industry myself, saying that you can download movies etc. etc., doesn't necessarily mean you're encouraging piracy. Their are legal sites wherein you can download movies, or stream them, for a fee... and again, it's legal.
yeah bro maybe im wrong but do you think if philippines have this kind of internet speed do you think how many percent of the subscriber will go for the legal downloads and how many percent will go for illegal... im not saying na we filipinos or we cebuanos are all doing illegal downloads but who dont?

@mods sorry double post... please merge thanks!

^ Am not saying that we don't download copyrighted files, I do it myself on a regular basis What i'm saying is that he doesn't necessarily mean it that way.. who in his right mind, especially one that holds as high a rank as he does, tells the people through the media to download illegal stuff

If I were in his position, from a marketing standpoint, I would say the same thing.

Anyway, going back to the topic.. i don't think Globe will be able to deliver.. I mean, duda gyapon ko sa performance ana. Bati naman gani ilang 384k lang nga residential

Curious lang ko kung pila kahay contention ratio ana.

No we're not, as far as technology is concerned. We have 2 DS3's and several E1's and that's already 100Mbps, give or take. It's not a matter of technology, because fiber has been here for years. It's just a matter of pricing and packaging.

roger on that man like here sa singapore starhub already did that 100Mbps not mbps.. for i think 2 years back if im not wrong, but you cant get even 75% of 100Mbps that they promised and the fact that singapore technology is much better us. but even we cant get the 75% of what we're paying here, its ok kay wala man sad ug issue nga dropping of connetions. I think the best thing here is they have to focus on how to improve the services by not just boosting the speed but the stability/availabilty of connection... like for example kung mag uwan dha sa atoa ang connection mawala sad. as per my experience

hahaha Hopefully not, i doubt basin ang 150Mbps basin dha ra sa IT park other part of cebu city dili pa hekhekhek and another thing mahal kaayo ang 20K for 150Mbps oi, dili maka afford ang normal consumer ana like ordinary home user... naunsa na tawn even a small company i dont think they will go for it. Anyway DSL is not that bad, might as well mantinir nalang ug dsl than paying a 20K per month for a small company who just want to send email for business purposes
