it all depends on one's attitude towards work.

mao lagi nakalisod anang mga anak og politicians, although dili jud tanan ha, naay lay maihap lapas sa kalendaryo, kay they got in the job kay 1. dako og sweldo 2. the lure of travel life 3. benefits 4. social status (kanindot ra paninawon ah nga stewardes ka nya anak pa jud ka og politician...laysio!!) instead of having high interest for service or passion for the job.
in the philippines, everything related to flight sounds hot. if you are a flight attendant in other countries, it's just like having a normal job. nothing really flashy about it...
WATCH YOUR ATTITUDE!
HONESTLY .... not to contradict you MULAN , I dont need a job if my parents are into POLITICS . WHy ? DATU na gud mi and if how we got DATU ? YOu know who .... hehehe

yah.. kasuway nako ani with malaysian airlines. atoots
Sa pinoy, dili jud na sila mopahiyom. Bisan asa nga international flights sa PAL mao jud na ang mga attendants. Kung foreigner na gani ang ilang servicesan, abot dunggan ang pahiyom.Originally Posted by PissKhanXXX
I have some friends in PAL. I'm always on the go and obviously I am a frequent flyer. I interviewed once a kompare who is a steward in PAL and I asked him the same question- Why is it that "smile" seems to be very expensive in their airline especially for his lady crew. Ang iyang tubag: Basta Pinoy among pasahero magdaginot among mga chicks ug smile kay kadaghanan sa mga Pinoy nga pasahero ilang tan-aw god namo "chimoy man ug chimay". I told him, well mahal man sad mo nga pagka chimoy ug chimay and he agreed. But the truth is that most of PAL's cabin crew have very good family/educational backgrounds if not they are coming from prestigious families/exclusive schools.Originally Posted by journeyman
It is true that foreigners deserve more of their smiles rather than kababayans. Ang mga foreigners walay treatment as if gi "look down sila". Mangayo ug daghang inom unya magsuka pa sa lingkoranan and who takes care? Ang mga stewardesses nga gikan sa exclusive schools... uban mga anak/relatives ug mga politicians nga kunuhay maayo ug mga breeding pero sugo-sugo-on lang tawon ug mga pasahero nga DH. And now Filipinos are everywhere you just can imagine.
aw unsa diay ila job description? sato pa abi kay gihangyo siya sa pasahero ug something, chimoy ug chimay na... Abi nako mao na ila trabaho diha. Same with me, that's why better pa NWA, bahala tiguwang ang mga stewardess, mosmile pa. Sa pinas, I think Cebu pacific are much more happy people... dili pilian!
That's the impression in most of Filipino passengers labi na ug gikan sa Saudi. And they don't even know the word "please" which you would hear from foreigners unlike our kababayans nga kadaghanan kuno mga demanding. So the word hangyo is quite farfetch. Naa man gani manghangyo pero maihap lang. Dili paglaban sa mga taga PAL and in fairness to them, smile is one language that gives you assurance kung pasahero ka ug ayroplano. What I mean is assurance is like waking up in the morning seeing people in your household smiling that makes your fine day.Originally Posted by junmar4
At least magbyahe ka nga imong hunahuna nga abot ka sa imong destinasyon in a very pleasant manner kay pagsulod pa lang nimo sa ayroplano, nagpahiyom na mga stewardess.
kong pasahero ka sa eroplano walay gipili whether you are DH, Saudi Guy or makikilimos... They are considered a costumer... so costumer is alway right di ba? let's say pinoys are like demanding.... well they had paid for it.
I experienced before with PAL, hali ra jud kaau ang treatment sa mga FA sa pinoys compare to the foriegners... One time, nangayo ko ug pillow sa FA (with PLEASE pa ha)... ingon sya, sir no more pillow, ok lang kay more ehhh. Pero 5 mins later ang Foriegner nangayo pud ug pillow then naa man dayun. Then I looked at her, then she said "sorry sir I forgot we still have pillows"..... WTF!!!
I think those mga FA na anak mayaman are not used to work pressure work.... No wonder ang mga FA sa PAL especially intrenational flights are mga aunties na....hehehe.
Ang CEBUPAC is different story kay budget airliners ni sya... ang mga pasahero dili kaau demanding kay naa man bayad... ang mga FA are more relax...
