bay, i think i may have good news for you, i spoke with a representative with abconlinepharmacy in canada, the site i originally gave you, and they tell me its quite possible to order using a philippine prescription, any prescription is fine so long as it is written in english thats what the person said. you could just fax it to them, and also they deliver to the pihilippines for $USD 4.95 and that will take about 2-3 weeks though im sure that some speedier shipping options are available. and the best thing about this is, you can order from there all you'll need is a credit card.

now everything seems fine but the problem is, i have never ordered drugs online so i cannot verify the reputation and merit of these sites though at face value it looks ok. my mom did tell me about how she saw a documentary in tv about some fake drugs in canada. as a rule medication there is much cheaper in the u.s so the trend has been that people here buy from there, unfortunately some people are exploiting this fact and are introducing fake drugs to rip people, mostly senior citizens off.

i hope this serves as an eye openner for everyone....

medicines here as so expensive..... and the prices here are just unreasonable and many die because they can't afford....

Canada is one of the cheaper place to get medicine because they have a law on socialize medicine.... meaning pharmaceutical companies can not over charge....

That is why sometimes US citizen buy their prescription in Canada because its cheaper.... but right now US Pharmaceutical companies are lobbying to ban US citizens from buying their medicines in Canada....... just see the greed....

If you travel to Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia you can go to their pharmacy and see the difference in prices.....

If you have read in the news about a group of ladies who were stopped at the airport for bringing medicines..... they bought it because it was cheaper.... way cheaper that what is sold here.....

Example... my helper needs Dermovate cream for her Dermatitis..... if i buy the local dermovate cream the 5g tube would cost 200 pesos.... but there is a pharmacy selling an imported dermovate cream 5g for 100 pesos.... i bought 2 and it works as well.... i save 50% and i didn't even ask our helper to pay me back.... because its enough that i got it for less... Pasalamat nalang to kay naka barato....

My mother takes medicines for hypertension(Hi-blood) and my father has diabetes if i bought the medicines here..... it would cost a lot.... so i bought it outside the country with huge savings.....

acutally bingkat emailed me about this mediciine.... i said i don't offer this kind of medicine.... if only i was going to travel abroad..... i would have inquired about it and get it cheaper... but as of yet i don't have plans to go abroad....

So be smart people...... medicines here are so expensive.... and if you travel to our neighboring countries its cheaper...... same brand but a big difference in price.....

one more final note:

The goverment is doing a half-hearted effort to bring the cost of medicines down. Why do i say this? Because they are just buying small quantities of medicnes not even 1% of the market.... so they can't bring down the price.....

Also if I am right Pfizer is suing the goverment for bringing cheap medicines from india.... but you should be aware Pfizer has factories in India and Pakistan.... they are selling cheaper medicines......

There are a number of fake websites advertising as canadian pharmacy...

There are legitimate ones but they are outnumbered by fake ones....

my mom has made contact with her pharmacist friend and she says to buy the drug in the u.s requires a prescription from a u.s doctor, she will however see what she can do and try to pull some strings. in a couple of days she will go to the pharmacy where she used to work and try to ask if she can get it there. which brings me to my question, her question actually, she wants to know the dosage, so im assuming miligrams and frequency at which your mom should take, times/day so she may give you a realistic estimate of how much it will cost you.

actually a medrep can not bring the prices down (i tried this way also). it might be cheaper because its wholesale but its still way off compared to buying it outside the country.......

Just to give you an idea...

Bactrim forte (800mg Sulfamethoxazole/160mg Trimethoprim) use to treat Urinary tract infection. cost 30 pesos in the pharmacy... in Thailand it cost 6-8 pesos only..... same brand same quality.....

so here's my advice bingkat if you know a relative or a relative of a friend travelling in thailand, malaysia or indonesia..... have them check how much this medicine cost....
