Tiny my great dane is also confined in animal care clinic starting yesterday.
she also has ehrlichiosis.


the doc said her platelets are low but is responding well.
i'ts caused by ticks daw. probably she got it from the dogs in the village.
and would take another 3 to 4 days of observation.
she is under supportive care.

hope she survives bro.
thats why flea and ticks should not be taken lightly.
they can be fatal.

thank God i got my dog out from the clinic today.
she's been confined there for 6 days.
she's now ok but lost about 12 lbs

thanks. but the treatment is not over yet.
i just got her because she is strong enough to continue her treatment at home

not to mention the cocktail of medicines prescribed by the vet.
because of the stress induced by the ehrlichia
her ameobiasis came back
and her intestines had a little bleeding from the complications.

im still glad that she shows signs of improvement
and is already on her usual playful self.

im very optimistic that she would recover faster than expected.
