Interesting point there regarding Hongkong. Now I'm more aware that it's one of the least corrupt countries in the world.

But I don't buy the idea that Hongkong is exactly free from corruption. This article apparently supports that belief of mine:

Corruption rises among HK govt officials | Articles | FutureGov - Solutions for Government | Education | Healthcare

By the way, kinsay naay idea kung unsa ang plano ni Noynoy on battling corruption, beyond the "Kung walang corrupt, walang mahirap" tagline? Does he have a three-point platform or something like that? Or do I have to wait and see as to how he'll do it?

Boy Abunda for DOT secretary? hahaha not that Boy abunda has no capability, but the fact nga daliiiiiiiiiii ra kaayo siya na sway sa iyang sister rings a bell. unsa na lang kaha sa ubang cabinet members? without an intelligent mind, dali ra kaayo siya ma persuade sa mga taw nga naga pursue sa ilang personal interest. oh, and that's the reason why a lot of people like him. listening ear? but without a firm decision. lol. good luck philippines. i'll still do what i can, though, to help.

Walang Corrupt, walang mahirap = as if matinuod. i mean, ok dili siya corrupt. pero ang iyang mga tawo? walang mahirap = the government will NEVER be able to make the people rich.
