11 million yen is barely enough for 1 episode from a reputable studio, let alone an entire season.

It takes 10–20 million yen to produce a single episode, so it takes 260–520 million yen to produce a whole season…. and that’s just the expense of the production company. Additional expenses for marketing, cost of timeslot, and other factors still have to be considered.
