taga_pili unsa imo gamit lens for portraits sa dancers? 85mm 1.8? what imo cam?
50mm 1.4....you can shoot an entire wedding with it. Kasagaran candid shots nako kay sa 50mm.The 85mm 1.8 is faster though. You can get in closer sa action at a considerable distance. Downside is you cant whip it to your left or right daun kung naay lain mahitabo sa imung kilid. Kinahanglan paka mu atras jud ug maayo hehe The trick, with either lens in hand, is to always anticipate that something is always bound to happen so being at the right place and at the right time is crucial. Ana mansad jud na gud basta prime lenses. Shoot lang kanunay. Comes with experience nasad nang mga ingun ana. hehe Also if I get to travel around the world and bring only one lens, I'd bring my 50mm 1.4! 1.2 kung naa naay budget hehe 85mm is better kung models imu kasagaran shootan i.e headshots...
I use both the 50/1.4 and the 85/1.8 on a crop body. The 85/1.8 is sharper with both lens at 1.8 and has a better usm unlike the 50/1.4 faux usm. But I use the 50mm/1.4 most of the time because you are still capable of taking small group shots with it. The 85/1.8 is too tight for me and i reserve it solely for taking portraits.
