sa mga ni reklamo nga dli maka kita ug tarong sa sayaw.. naa raman sad na sa imong angle ug place if nindot kag pwesto syempre makakita jud kag tarong dba.. dli mn sad permi nga naay photographers mag ali2x sa mga dancers... for today, nature nana oi.. If you want to see the dancers clearly ad2 mo sa grandstand panan-aw kay comfortable pamo did2 wla pay photographer nga mag bahis2x sa inyong panan-aw.

I am one of the guilty. I was within the cordon at one point at Jones, taking shots with my pns. However, this is more of an issue of enforcement than anything else. The "authorities" couldn't do a thing at preventing other people (by this I mean those who weren't pros or those who paid to get inside the cordon to take shots up close) from taking shots, and I was more than willing to pay on the spot if it was necessary to pay to get photos up close, but I don't see anyone enforcing the so-called rules--it was free game for anyone there. Sometime pa nga eh, people just flash ID cards and they are allowed in, and the people guarding the cordons don't even bother to check these ID's were legit or not. I've been in Cebu City for 3 years now and I've NEVER enjoyed the Sinulog, so I made a point to get up close as possible, sumikap talaga ako, para naman matikman ko talaga ang Sinulog as I've never experienced it before--up close and personal.

    Forgive me for my sins.

For the record, I was within the cordon only for only about 20-30 minutes, after that I returned to my "perch"...a tree in front of the CAP building. At least up there, feeling Zacchaeus, and getting the shots I wanted from that angle

that is the "purpose" unta of the sinulog t-shirt for photographers, to distinguish the paid and non-paid kay "some" photographers kay i pirate/duplicate lang ang ID para "makaminos", ang problema lang kay "authorities" wala magpakabana, nakuwang ilang t-shirt nga gidistribute and late pa gyud gihatag...

I was one of those people who wanted to take photographs of the Sinulog event, but I tried to give way to other photographers, registered or not. As a result way lami kasagaran nakong photos. Ayaw pud mo blame dretso sa wala na register, kay I'm sure there were some of us who gave way for decency's sake. I own a mere 5 MP cam and used its zoom as much as I can para lang dili ko maka disrupt ug maayo sa ubang tawo. I wonder if others, even registered ones, did that; having better cameras.

in defense sad sa mga wala naka register/unpaid, dli man sad nila sala oi... everybody, i mean everybody wants to have the opportunity to photograph the sinulog man gyud may it be P&S, DSLR, camera phone...

I too am guilty of going into the cordon without registering. I apologize to everyone nga affected, nadala lang sad ko sa opportunity to take nice shots. Sakto gyud ang ingon sa uban nga basta magdala-dala lang ka ug dSLR maka sulod ra sad ka, and I took advantage of this. I'm sorry, I know sayop gyud to.

Ok naman ila policy, nga limited ang number of registrations allowed, nya dapat ID and T-shirt ang sul-obon. Kuwang lang ug enforcement.

    Again, I apologize.......

there's really nothing to say sorry about.. as what luthienne said most of us really wanted to take pictures of the event.. even the registered photogs have to struggle with each other just trying to get that one of a hell shot... i guess that's part of it, the beauty of it... when you got that shot that could make the world stop and think for a while, why didnt they include cebu in their leisure trip.

but then again its a dog eat dog world. so nothing to be sorry about...

its what you believe that you didnt do anything bad that matters, not what other people think..

peace out people.. sinulog is done... lets enjoy and share the memories with our photographs
