Trigger Happy? AFter all of the suicide Bombs in the last 30 years? A person can only take so much.

The more you use force on the Arabs, the more the Arabs would react violently. If Israelis always think that any action against them is for their annihilation, then it would be difficult for the peace process to proceed.

How can ther be peace if these islam states dont recognize Israel as a Nation? How can there be peace if these Islam States wants devastation, destruction & genocide towards Israel & the Jews?

The only militants are hamas and hizbollah. I believe there are moderate Palestinians out there who dont share the views of Hamas and Hizbollah. And these people are offended by Israels actions.

some people should go back years farther and look at the facts thoroughly as to why israel becomes that very defensive and aggressive today.
i think some people are just so bitter of the US being a power nation that accuses of it as screwing and controlling the world. but to say it screwed up the philippines is so damn silly.....i thought people here knows better than that....

Israel's reaction to the kidnapping is heavy handed. A soldier is kidnap then you bomb cities? This is arrogance.

If U.S. is really sincere about the middle east crisis, it should work hard to pursue the peace process and not let Israel use force with impunity in every single petty conflicts with its neighbors. Naapakan lang ng paa, giyera na. istoryador

let's not pretend that just because "A soldier is kidnapped then you bomb cities?" is the case here, it's much bigger, deeper and more complicated than that. this conflict between Israel and the Arab countries has been ongoing for hundreds upon hundreds of years already. I, for one, don't really know how it started but as far as I can recall, I already saw pictures of this same conflict when I was a kid browsing thru Time and Newsweek at my grandpa's house looking at pictures of tanks, guns and planes owned by countries from that region and that was even before I was in gradeschool.

the action by Hezbollah in kidnapping a couple of Israeli soldiers maybe the straw that broke the camel's back. daily suicide bombings for decades, atrocities commited on both Israeli's and the Jews almost everyday are just some of the actions done by Hamas and Hezbollah to instigate the Israeli's into firing back and retaliating. maybe this time they (Hamas / Hezbollah) succeeded. Israel eventually gave in. but to insinuate that "A soldier is kidnapped then you bomb cities?, Naapakan lang ng paa, giyera na" is just unfair. don't make it sound like you were just born yesterday and when you read the news, you'd suddenly retort "gi kidnap ra, bomba dayon?" tsk tsk

We should also take into consideration the welfare of our OFW’s in Lebanon who might be affected in Lebanon- Israel conflict. They must have a need contingency plan in order to secure the safety of our OFW's if it will be necessary to evacuate them.
