ma tinood na gyud ang movies.. tsk tsk palayo lng tawn
i can't believe how scary earth is going into now! so much of a change, so drastic!
we can still do something about it. let's act now.
1958 Global warming warning. It's happening now. We can still stop it.
YouTube - 1958 - Global Warming - It's NOT newly known
Good point. Earth has been changing climates for numerous of times for the past million/billion of years. I believe it's part of her NATURAL CYCLE. Na-timingan lang gyud cguro ta nga panahon na pod niya mag-change ug costume karon. Probably the best things we can do is to be prepared, find ways to survive & stop any kind of pollution coz it is just speeding the transition.. IMHO.
most likely yes. di ba climate change ang hinungdan napapas ang mga dinos.
mao sad ni nahitabo karon. CHANGE is the only permanent in this world. ig melt down sa north pole, who knows what's the next cycle, could be EL NIŅO then balik na pud ICE AGE and so on...
preparation lang ato ani sa next mahitabo. ig melt down motaas ang level sa tubig so mao ni pangandaman sa katawhan.
it could be natural cycle but we all know that global warming is caused by the thinning of the ozone layer. during the ice age, wala pa to mga carbon emission pero karon puerteng dakoa sa carbon that is exposed sa atmosphere. we are speeding up the change, tabang lang sad ta hinay hinay or stop carbon emission.
The melting ice already floating on the Arctic sea isn't really the problem--the bigger problem is the ice on land masses like Greenland, the northern edges of Eurasia and North America, and of course, Antarctica. Why? Perform the following experiment.
Put some ice cubes in a tall glass of water. Mark the water level with a felt-tipped pen. Leave this until the ice cubes completely melt. Now check the water level. Nag usab ba (nisaka ba ang water level) or dili?
Now, take another tall glass of water, don't put ice in it, but mark the water level with a felt-tipped pen. Now, beside this glass, take a plate full of ice cubes, and position and tilt it in such a way so that the melting ice water drips into the glass. Leave this until the ice cubes completely melt. Now check the water level. Nag usab ba (nisaka ba) or dili?
After this experiment, you wil realize why the melting of LAND ICE is the one that will cause the rising of the mean sea level worldwide. I'm not saying that the disappearing floating ice packs of the Arctic is not a concern--I'm just correcting the erroneous notion that when ice floating on the water melts, that it makes sea levels rise.
